Anxious...

Ever notice that ttc is like going to the airport. Hurry up and wait...wait some more.....and then some more....gah!

Since i didnt O im waiting on my dr appointment tomorrow to get clomid and then wait for AF to show (now watch, my af have been pretty normal 28-32 days long without o of course, but now that im going to be armed with clomid it will mess with me) and then wait for a pos opk and then for o and then wait for a neg or pos hpt.... Its cd 28 today and of course i dont see one sign of spotting like i usually do two to three days before af comes. Just annoying!

I'm so sorry but I can relate We are supposed to not try this month so we can do more tests...But it's so hard. Of course today, I had some great EWCM and an almost pos OPK. Of course! Why wouldn't I?!?!

DH went for his semen analysis today and they took blood for chromosome testing.

Doctor is leaning heavily toward LPD as the cause for my early losses. My prog at around 18 dpo last time was only 1.1. Sad really. Something fairly easy to fix and I've had my heart broken 4 times.

Sorry to hijack but had alot of emotion today!

Hoping AF shows soon so you can stop waiting!

Oh hon Im so sorry. Of course my whining is nothing compared to the heartache you have suffered! I find myself angry FOR you that you've been through that sort of loss and for something (apparently) as you say that is so simple to fix! I wonder why they didnt test for it sooner. I think sometimes drs see so many babies, so many pregnancies, they sometimes forget that these are OUR babies, our little miracles and none of them should be forgotten so quickly or with such ease.

I hope they do find out what is going on with things and its fixed so that you and your dh wont go through such a heartache again! One is far too many.

Hi folks: Sorry to hear that you're both feeling the IF blues today... {{{HUGS}}}

Julie: I hope AF comes so you can be on your way... you're right... so much waiting!

Kristina: So, will your doctor put you on prog. supps right after O? That's what my friend did and she finally conceived her son after 3 losses. When did your doctor say you can be ttc again?

Best to you both and keep in touch++++++++++++

Hi Maura

I'm not sure what the plan is yet. We are supposed to avoid this month, then on day 3 of my next cycle, lots more blood tests...Then I have to make an appt a few weeks after that to discuss the tests and make a game plan. I guess that means that we'll be sitting out next month also.

Interesting thing I thought - my RE doesn't use clomid, he said too many side effects...He uses Letrozole instead.

I guess I would rather sit a few rounds out if I know the next one will stick

Kristina, what was your doctor looking for by doing prog test at 18dpo?

A level of 1.1 sounds normal for 18 dpo. If it was 7 dpo, then that's not good. Progesterone peaks at 7dpo, then, if there's no pregnancy, it falls back to baseline level, which is < 1.5 ng/mL.

That was during my last m/c. Hcg was 137 and prog 1.1.

Hi Kristina: Ugh about having to wait. Is Letrozole the same thing as Femara?

BTW, when do you get dh's SA back and also the results of the chromosomal testing?

Best and keep us posted++++++++++++
