another bigger problem

i thought my bleeding had stopped yesterday but last night it came on full force, I didnt even do anything i was just sitting here, i have been passing very large clots since last night, but absolutely no pain. called doc and she said as long as i dont soak a pad an hour i should be fine to see her today.
i am sooooo scared. I am now on day 14, have no idea if i o'd but cant ttc right now anyways.

that happened to me last month. it was a heavier than normal period...on cd14! ugh! hpt's were all negative before i started bleeding. just weird, huh?! i guess it was just my body trying to "normalize" itself. i'm not regular at all. so, right now we are finally bms'ing. due to the "sudden period", last month was a bust.

I hope you get all the answers you're looking for very soon!

curly jill- what was the cause of it? I am usally a normal cycler. I am seriously scared to death, the clots, the excessive blood are all too much right now. I had bms on cd 12 but i think that with all this blood that the sperm got washed out. I know i will either have to use the bcp, have a d and c, or hysterectomy, all three scare me, the pill would be okay, if it works

i don't know. i think my cycle was just messed up. i didn't start at all after i stopped bcp, so i went ahead and took Clomid (50mg) and 2 weeks later I started bleeding.

so weird! it was heavy and a little clotty. lasted about 6 days. let us know as soon as you hear ANYTHING!

Hi jd: But you had a normal AF two weeks ago, right? That's the confusing thing...

okay ladies just got back from doc...
She did a thorough internal exam of cervix, etc and all was good there, did another pap so we will see what happens, did transvag u/s and all was good there so she thinks it may be from the herbs/acu and/or screwed up hormones. She ordered bloodowrk of tsh, hormones, cbc, and hcg and another hcg for next week. So i left with a prescrip for a progestin to take for 14 days then she said if that doesnt stop the flow then she will try a bcp and maybe after that a D n C. So i am curious as to what happens. She also siad that i have a tilted uterus.

Oh, good, jd, sound like she checked you out thoroughly. Did she say anything about what your lining looked like? As I said before, I wonder if the herbs either thickened it extra thick or caused premature shedding? Did she say whether you should stop ttc this month?

she just said that my lining looked good. She said dont ttc this month because of the progestin i am taking. I dont know about the acu, but i know i am not going back.

Hi jd: That's too bad about the acupuncture. You probably already know this, but I went to acup. while ttc and credit it with my success (together with surgery to correct a septum). I never had any problems with it and in fact my AF got lighter and less crampy while doing it. Maybe switch practitioners? I don't blame you for wanting to stay far away though!
