Question Help in RI!!

Hi, I am new to Fertility Thoughts and I am thrilled that I found a place that I can talk about my experiences with women who have gone through the same agonizing procedures! I don't know the "lingo" very well but I am learning! This has been my first IVF cycle and currently I am 12dpt and scheduled for my first blood test on Thursday. I am terrified! Yesterday I started experiencing cramping and today I feel extremely bloated along with the cramping! I haven't had any spotting....just cramping. Is this normal?

I haven't ever had IVF, but I do remember cramping w/ my last pregnancy. I just knew I was going to start AF, but she never came. I tested a week after AF was supposed to arrive, and it was positive. So, I think w/ any type of "fertility" (IVF, natural, etc), cramping is normal. No spotting is a good thing, but even then...pg is still possible. GOOD LUCK!!!! :

Hi Sadie and welcome to the bb from a fellow New Englander (MA here)!

I never did IVF, but cramping without spotting with any cycle is fine and may even be a good sign since some women have cramping with implantation.

Good luck with your blood test and let us know how it comes out! Looking forward to getting to know you.

+++++++++++++++

I also had cramping when I was pg with my dd. Now if I don't have cramps I figure I am not pg because that was one of the symptoms I remember clearly. I felt I was going to have af any minute for the whole first month of pg. I hope this is it for you. Good luck and keep us posted.
