jd,
I would call your accu first and ask if the herbs or tx could have caused this. If this is your first month of tx and herbs it could be causing some havoc with your hormones. Then I would go & see your GP to have a check. I have had bleeding after BMS too and it was due to a cervical polyp. Nothing serious but it had to be treated. Good luck.

Hi jd: I would call your doctor right away, esp. if you are still bleeding! Red streaks in cm is one thing; gushing bright red blood is another. Please call now if you haven't and chech back when you can.

THinking of you and hoping all is ok+++++++++++

i called her last night ( my doc) and she said that it may be the herbs, but to come in if i want, the problem is that she takes a month to get in to see. I just had a pap done in oct 05 so that is good, what could cause this? I guess that this month i wont be preggo, blood probably killls sperm i would imagine

Are you still bleeding?

Some possibilities:

Cervical polyp (this seems like a real possibility since it happened after BMS)
Other irritation of vagina or cervix
The herbs causing your lining to get so thick that it can't sustain itself
The herbs causing your lining to shed prematurely

Have you tried calling your acup. yet? She/he might have an idea of what's going on.

So, was your doctor not concerned? Sounds like she wasn't if she didn't say come right in?

I hope you're ok now. And I wouldn't give up on pg this month. Since your ++OPK was yesterday, you could still O as late as tomorrow. I would keep BMSing if you can!

GOod luck and keep us posted+++++++++

i am still bleeding, lighter though. Its hard to tell how much blod there is cause of the semen also. My acupuncturist isnt in today, i am so worried, but i find it hard ironic that the month i start the herbs this happens. I get worried about uterine cancer, etc. This is so scary to me. If it was cervical polyps then would they have shown on a transvag u/s? I just had one a couple months ago and it only showed a simple ovarian cyst. It just seems since i had my dd 3 yrs ago that things havent been normal when it comes to my cycle. Oh and also this is the first month i havent had o pain, but i had my pos opk yesterday, but no temp rise today.
Oh and also we had bms two nights before this and there wasnt a problem, so that is strange huh?

Hi: It is strange ... Are you in any pain? Did BMS hurt the last time? The fact that you didn't have bleeding 2 nights before doesn't mean it's not a polyp because perhaps it was a cumulative process, where the recurring BMS started to irritate it and it just started bleeding. I don't know, though. I wish someone could see you because a simple physical examination should tell you if there's a polyp.

I hope it stops soon and/or you can get to the bottom of it!

Hi again
I have no pain at all, not even ov pain. I just want to know that this will be okay and not hinder me ttc. If it were a fibroid or soemthing then it would have shown on my u/s right? If it is from polyp, where do those come from? I just have never had this before, needless to say i am discontimuing my herbal regimen for now. It seems weird but the last few days i have felt bloated, gassy and a full feeling. I wonder what that was about.

Hi again: Fibroids, endometriosis, cysts -- all of these should show up on an u/s. Not sure how fast they grow and whether they could go from absent to causing bleeding within a few months time. No one knows what causes polyps -- they can come and go. I had one unbeknownst to me when I was pg with ds. I had some brown spotting and the doctor saw a polyp during an exam.

Is there anyway your doctor can squeeze you in?

Best++++++++++++++
