Any natural ways to start AF? beside Provera?

Hi,

I HATE MY IRREGULAR CYCLES AND LACK OF ABILITY TO GET A STINKIN' PERIOD!!!! Unless I'm on the pill, or get provera I don't cycle??? I've been to the RE to conceive my first son and the dx is PCOS. But come on, why don't I get AF at all? I'm CD 40, according to my chart I'm 12dpo, a neg. HPT this morning, this time EPT I used, and no spotting, no AF, no nothing. I'm not bummed about the neg. HPT at all, like I said before I really want to ttc a girl and use the Shettles timing method and I didn't get to do that this month. So AF just come so I can start. I called the dr. this week, I can have provera after abstaining for 2wks, taking me till March7. So in the meantime (oh great, another 2WW) do you know any natural things to try to bring on AF?

let me tell you, I am in the exact same boat! I've had irreg periods since i was 13, and as a teenager it was great cause having AF is a pain but now its come back to haunt me! And on the BCP it was like clockwork! now i have no idea when AF is coming...so frustrating...
hmm, i just looked at your chart and its pretty wacko, talk about getting mixed signals eh? My last few months were totally all over the place too.

as for bringing on AF i have no clue! I had this theory that if I thought about sex all the time and orgasm'd lots that it would stimulate my ovaries to send out some eggys, but i read on the internet that doesnt happen. But I've been going along with "mind over matter" and i think its working for me this month cause my chart has been textbook! I havent had AF since december, but i think i o'd 7 days ago. all of a sudden it started making a pattern. so im half way through the 2WW...

but who knows for sure. i would say get lots of sleep and eat your vegetables for sure. i wont tell you not to stress cause thats impossible.

hi again.
ok. On my chart i had to lie and say that AF came on cd1, so i could avoid having a 60+ day chart... my last AF was really dec 19! So ignore the first 3 days, nothing actually happened.

and im not sure about that dip on cd 15, i've just been ignoring it. no symptoms yet.

I can't see your chart, that link is taking me to the login page. When your looking at your chart on the left under Sharing, click on Home Page Setup and copy and paste the link, and that should paste it.

Hi Katie: If you did O this month -- and I think you did -- then you should get your period if you're not pg. At 12 dpo, it could go either way... an HPT can EASILY be a false negative because you could be implanting today. And if you're not pg, then AF should come soon, depending on how long your LP is usually (probably within the next 2-4 days). Unless your LP is short (which you don't want), then AF shouldn't have started yet since the shortest normal LP is 12 days, which means AF would come tomorrow.

I know you wanted to try the Shettles method, but I'm going to keep my fingers crossed for you this month anyway and hope that you just tested too early!

Maura- Yesterday I was in such a terrible mood and started cramping really badly last night, thought maybe AF would be here, notta. My temp is back up today and my chart looks like a mountain range. Weird, thanks for you input, I'll keep you posted. I may test again Sun. morning if no AF.
