Fred
Sorry if this is a stupid question, but does FRED stand for First Response Early Result or is it something else? It seems to be the best test since everyone's using that one!

First Response Early Detection and I am NOT a fan of them at all. I have been a hpt-junkie for a long time now. With my 1st pregnancy, I took a FRED and an EPT at the same time. Well, I think I took th EPT and when it was faintly positive, I ran to the drugstore to get the FRED. The FRED was negative. The next morning I took a FRED and another EPT. The EPT was darker and the FRED was still negative!

Another non fan of First Response Early here. I have been pg and hcg was picked up by other brands (CVS, Dollar Tree) and not by FRED. Currently I like accuclear with two lines. I have had false + lines with the +/- tests.
Athena, I'm a junkie too

What the other girls said! I had been using FREDs and was getting faint +s since 10dpo, but they didn't seem to be getting much darker. I ended up getting a CVS brand at 13dpo and it was much darker than the FRED...
