HPT w/dollar tree sticks!!!!!!!!!

Hi gals,
I don't know if you remember me at all,
I'm actually posting in another thread (the FET queens of Heart) right now, but as I know some of you from some other previous cycles, and know you are all experts in all the HPT I decided to give it a shot.
Well, today I'm 9dp6dt from a FET, and I POAS today (used one of those dollar tree) and it came back negative (BFN). Do you know if those are accurate enough? I know it's almost over after seeing that horrible stick lying there, but I just wanted to check your experiences with that brand.\
Thanks for being there,
Olina

Olina,

I have been hearing some bad things recently about the Dollar Store brands. Then again I have heard some good responses too. Maybe it depends on what side of the country you are on or something.
I hope you BFN turns into a great big BFP!

Olina- I have heard some girls have good luck with them, but I got several evaporation lines and did cartwheels around the house thinking for the first time in my life (after 5 yrs of trying) that I was pregnant. Then I realized it was an evap line and I had a <2 beta (after having a blood test). I know evap lines can happen with any brand, but it appeared within 2-3 mins. Because of that I will not use them any more, it's just too risky. I say wait a few more days and test again or maybe buy another brand. Some say that a positive is a positive, but sometimes you get what you pay for (I know mine were $1.00 and they were worth about $0.01) Best of luck to you and I hope it was BFN b/c of the crappy dollar tree test -- and you get a BFP from a "real test" !!

Hi Olina: I've never used that brand, but I've seen plenty of false negatives at your stage with all kinds of brands... hoping that that's what that was ... are you getting a beta soon?

Good luck and please keep us posted!

I never got a positive on that test. I was using the target brand and saw a faint "+" in the window but nothing on the dollar tree brand
