Back at it again
Hi Ladies,
I have been a lurker for 6mo. now. I was on FT a lot while ttc in the past. I do have 2 boys and it was a struggle to get and stay pg. with them. We are ttc our 3rd child and I just started with opk's this cycle. I'm temp charting and will do the ClearPlan monitor with the next cycle. I'm planning on clomid with a new cycle also. I've never gotten pg. without intervention. My first son was IUI and second natural but with clomid. Im a long cycler and usually need provera to start and I O late or not at all. I'm PCOS and m/c with out progestrone. So as I venture in this journey I always need advise and a second opinon. Thanks in advance. Katie

Goodmorning,
I started temping a little late this cycle and didn't temp while we were on vacation, but I still have detected O, I'll try to attach my chart. According to my temps I'm 4dpo, according to my OPK's I'm 7dpo. So I'm just waiting it out. Thanks for asking. ![]() http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/c8b1

Hi Katie: I would count your dpo from the day before your temp rise, as FF has done. I wouldn't count from the day you got your ++OPK because most women don't O the same day they get their ++. Usually O is 12-48 hours post surge detection (your O seems to have taken place 2 days after your ++OPK, which is normal
). Good luck with your 2ww and keep us posted! ++++++++++++++++++ Maura p.s. One more thing, in counting dpo, you don't include the day you think you might have O'd. So when you say that you are 7 dpo acc. to OPK, you would actually be 6 dpo if you counted from your OPK since you wouldn't include the day you got your OPK. Hope that's clear! Anyway, it doesn't matter because it's better to go by temps when you have a clear rise .
