Early HPT dilema (PG ment)

HI all
I posted on the pg over thirty board and then realized this is probably where i should have posted

I am kind of an old new member. 5 years ago i became PG through IUI using clomid and HCG trigger.

I am a bit freaked out here because i have taken 6 HPT 3 first response and 3 EPT and all are positive.Was not ttc because of my age and this came the natural way.Just took anoth EPT and + again.Why would it be + before AF is due?I took the first one 3 days ago!
AF is not due til tomorrow!!
I initially took the HPT because i had gotten a nasty cold which i never get except for when i have been pg and i also was having slight dizziness. A friend said "Are you sure your not PG?" i took the test with all idea that it would be - due to what it took to get PG with DS 4.5 years old.

Any thoughts on this....is it likely that i am definately PG or could these tests be saying + for another reason?
I'll be 40 in dec!! real scarey!

mmmm I would bet the farm that you are PG.............I mean 6 test should not lie...Please keep us posted!

I am still in shock.I don't feel pg at all...heck i am not even late yet for AF!
I guess maybe this is why i caught this nasty cold

Not i shall worry worry worry about all the things that can happen when im this old and PG.
I am still a bit numb about this whole thing and hope that i can get happy soon

Shocked to say the least.

! WOW! Congratulations! I think you are pg ... it would be very unusual to get so many false positives

! So what dpo were you when you tested? Although I don't recommend people testing at 10 dpo, it is possible to get a ++ at that point -- if you implanted early.

So, call your doctor and best wishes for a happy and healthy pg

Ugh i dont know when "O" was

i wasn't paying attention

My last AF was october 13th though.
i have 25 to 26 day cycles lately.
today is day 25 but i tested + the first time on day 23!!

Hi Lisa

! Let's see... if you have been having 25-26 day cycles, then you might be ovulating anywhere from cd 9 to cd 14 ... so, if you tested on cd 23 and O'd on cd 9, then you were 14 dpo when you tested ... if you tested on cd 23 and O'd on cd 14, then you were 9 dpo when you tested ... either one of those scenarios could give you a true ++HPT

....

p.s. Can you figure out when you O'd by looking specifically at cds 9-14 and how your BMS matched up?

OK the BMS which was actually the FMS (fun making session) was on the 22,23,24,25,26...lol
Hadn't seen each other in 2 months...lol

Hi Lisa, Ok, so you had BMS on cds 10-14 ... so I'm thinking you probably didn't O on cd 9

.... any other cd in that range is a possibility, though!

Ya know i honestly thought i was starting menapause!! up until this past year my periods were exactly 28 days apart. then i was getting 25,23,26 etc.
I think i am still in denial and will probably do a million more tests just to make sure until i can get in to the DR.
