I need to vent
Hope you don't mind me venting here. I just need to tell people who understand about my kicked in the stomach feeling. I've been posting here about my beta hell and thankfully it was over Tuesday. Well at my playgroup today one of my friends announced she is pregnant. You all know I am happy for her but . . . . There is the why her and not me but even stronger than that is the jealousy of her innocence. At six weeks she is announcing her pregnancy to the world and her 4 year old is walking around saying she is going to be a big sister. I can't imagine.
Thanks for listening. Lisa

I get the same way when i hear people getting pg. Now more than ever everywhere i go i seem to run into pregnant women. It really sucks I just can't understand why getting pregnant has to be so hard and unfair. Try to stay positive. Good luck to you and your next cycle.

Oh, that stinks, Lisa
. {{{HUGS}}} We all understand. You know, even though we're all done ttc, I STILL hear the news of a pg from someone close to me with a pang. I don't think it ever goes away.{{{HUGS}}} ++++++++++++++++++++ Maura |

lisa {{{hugs}}} this is particularly hard for you because of the timing. i've been gone for a few days, but obviously based on your post your outcome was not the one we all hoped for. i'm terribly sorry.
i couldn't agree with maura more. i'm also done having children, but i feel exactly the same way. when one of my sis's announced her pg last year i got that same old feeling. i don't think it ever goes away. we can relate to your feelings. and you can come here an *unload* anytime you feel the need.

I had a similar situation recently. I just had a miscarriage at nine weeks. A playgroup mom announces she is PG with #6 and due when I would've been. They didn't know I was PG, but man did it sting.
to you. I know how bad it can feel.

I know what you are feeling Lisa .At the moment i know 7 pregnant women , 4 of them are in the family and 3 are friends. As much as i am happy for them i cannot help but feel miserable wondering why me ? And on top of that everyone keeps asking me & DH "so when are you giving the good news " ,since everybody in the family seems to be getting pregnant left , right and centre , it really hurts me a lot.My DH keeps telling me our time will come soon too . I never even imagined in my wildest dreams that getting
would be so difficult for me. to youTwinkle. |

Lisa - That jealousy of innocence is so understandable. I cringe inside when people announce so early...I must be a pessimist but the earlier people (outside of this website which exists in a totally different reality) announce the more I expect to hear a sad announcement later on...unfortunatly that carries into my own body (if/when I get a BFP i wish I could wait until 12 weeks to announce it to myself).
I'm sorry for the timing...hugs. |
