Maura,

Today is CD 1 for me however, I am ready, and going to start being in more tune....

Here is my chart, by chance, is there any way to tell when I O'd? FF is telling me that I won't be fertle time till like Decemeber, I am worried that is way to long....

When should I start temping? After AF?

I am CD2 so I can go through this with you. What kind of meds are you on? I will be starting another round of clomid on day 5.

I am not on any. My "story" is I have 2 lc and 1 child that passed away last year the day after she was born,d/t hypo plastic heart syndrome. Between my first child and my 2nd child tried to conceive for about a year on clomid, gonal -f and IUI, nothing worked, dx PCOS ( never had any trouble conceiving ds) well the RE said IVF, we could not afford, so we stopped. A year later I was pg with dd, and then a year later with our daughter who passed. I have not decided if I am going back on meds, because they didnt' work for, so I am going to try naturally so to speak, and start temping and hten if in 3-4 cycles of timing it right or think Iam timing right, I might move back IF meds. sorry so long winded. What IF meds are you?

Hi Sheila: I'm so sorry that AF came. I looked at your chart and there's 2 days missing (10/31 & 11/1). Would today have been cd 56? I'm just trying to figure out when you might have O'd this month. If today would have been cd 56, then you had a 55 day cycle. With a normal LP, you should have ovulated sometime between cd 39 and 43. Now I went back and looked for clues in your posts from around that time (10/16-10/20) and noticed a post from you dated 10/24 where you mentioned "cramps that could choke a horse" and "familiar twinges" the week before. Perhaps those were ovulatory cramps and twinges? It would certainly be in the right timeframe, cd-wise. Do you remember what cd exactly you had the cramping? Did you BMS around that time?

Anyway, I'm excited for this new cycle. I think if you really pay attention to your body, you're going to able to focus in on when you're O-ing and be able to catch O. You can start temping now or wait until AF is over. Whatever makes you most comfortable.

For me, I wait till AF is over and I have finshed my clomid, due to clomid giving me high temps. I also stop, do the most part after O... when I feel like stopping!! Best Wishes!!

Maura, I had a 55 day cycle, and no I do not remember what days I had the cramps and if we bms, I do know that I spoted the 6th and the 7th, OBB, we had bms then, and then on CD 45.

Did you get my PM on wanting to learn more about acupuncture?

As for this cycle, given when you got AF, that spotting on the 6th and 7th would have been too early for O, but I think that cramping that you mentioned in your post on the 10/24 (from the week before the 24th) may have been. As I said yesterday, with a 55 day cycle, you should have O'd between cd 39 and 43. Did you BMS at all during that time?

But that's all water under the bridge! Now you have a new cycle and we're going to help you catch it this time!

shelia, i never temped through AF. i started the day after the last day of regular flow. for me it was usually around cd 5.
