Was wondering..another question
Ihave been charting on fertility friends. I noticed, and was wondering if this was a pattern or ment anything. It seems that I normally start my period 16 days after the last picture of the "egg" for that month. I have had one instance of 7 days, but its never gone beyond 16 days. Does that give any indication of when I normally O, or if its a pattern on when I should start?
thanks Sheila http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/cbf57

Hi Sheila: I'm a little confused about the egg thing, but assuming the egg stands for ovulation and assuming you actually did O on that day, then if AF comes on the 16th day after the egg (not including the day of the egg itself), then your luteal phase would be 15 days long, which is normal and a good length for implantation.
Hope that makes sense! Good luck and may you see a ++HPT soon++++++++++++++++ Maura |

Maura, yes that is what the egg symbol means, I can ovualte based on past charts, not symptoms, anywhere from October 10th thru the 14th as it stands right now, with 3 days prior to the 10thbeing my most fertile (??) now once I start, if I start, LOL, it may recaulculate that cycle based on the conclusion of this cycle, as it has me starting anywhere from THursday till today..........so should i have not seen a ++++ test today instead of a disapperaing line

Hi Sheila: Past cycles only get you so far! As I wrote in the other thread, without knowing for sure when you O'd, there's no way of knowing what dpo you are and whether you are about to start AF or whether you are pg and just testing too early. If you do get AF, then we can make an educated guess about when you likely O'd, but we can't do that right now
! Let's say, for example, that you're having a 58 day cycle.... then you might have ovulated on cd 42 or cd 46 (or somewhere in between) .... so at cd 53 (today) you could be only 7-11 dpo, which is EARLY to test since you can still implant up to 12 dpo!Hang in there ..... Good luck and keep us posted++++++++++Maura |
