Hey girls just a quick question! I got a little lazy this month with my temping and did not start until the 24th. Today i only have 5 temps is it to early to figure out my coverline. I use to chart online but i lost it some how. I have all my temps from August but since those months are in the past i don't want to rechart them. Anyway here are my temps let me know what you think.
24th(97.02), 25th(96.85), 26th(96.60 got up to get phone before took temp oopps and then got a +opk), 27th(96.47), 28th(97.29). I know not much to work with and i am sure it is two soon but just wondering. I have been temping since August and i can never figure out my cycle. i don't even know how to get my coverline so if any one could explain it to me that would be great. Thanks

Hi Angie: You can't figure out your coverline until after you've O'd ... are you still in your pre-O period? It looks like you probably are from your temps. Do you know what cd you are? I'll check back, but if you are where I think you are, just keep temping and it should be clear what's going on (we hope!).

I Think I O Yesterday Because I Got The +opk On The 26th And Had O Pains But They Have Now Subsided. I Think Today My Temp Went Up Also And Ushually Don't The Go Up The Day After You O. I Will Wait It Out A Few More Days To Get Some More Temps But I Am Still Confused On How To Get My Coverline.

angie, it looks like you might have O'd on the 27th. i'm basing this on your post OPK on the 26th, and your temp rise on te 28th. so if today is cd 24, then you probably O'd on cd 12.

to draw your CL, you would take the highest of the 6 temps immediately preceding O and add 1/10th to it.

technically you don't ave enough temps taken to drawn an "accurate" CL, so you'd have no choice but to use the highest of what you have, which would be the 97.02 on the 24th. add you tenth, and note your CL at 97.12.

**keep in mind that *if* your temp on te 23rd was higher than on the 24th, it could even possibly disqualify the day that we're using for O. the only reason i'm feeling somewhat comfortable, is because you got a pos OPK. but that doesn't mean that you couldnt have O'd 3 days after you got it....kwim?

Hi Angie: I see... I didn't notice your ++OPK information in your initial thread ...

Taking that into account, I agree with Dina's analysis and her calculation of your coverline as 97.12 if you did O on 10/27 ... I would keep BMSing though until you are sure since a coverline of 97.12 is on the low side (I forget .. have you had your thyroid checked?)....

I have not had my thiroid checked but i have been pg before if that counts. I know thyroid problems don't run in our family so i am hopeing mine is fine. Do you know if low temps have to do with low blood pressure. Everytime i go to the dr pg or not they comment on how low my blood pressure is. Low blood pressure does run in my family. its weird my sister and i both have low temps. i just thought it was probably a family thing but maybe i should get checked????? Also i have to take my temp at 5:00am which is on the earlyside because of my work schedual. i thought that might make my temps a little lower than average. Any thoughts would be great.

Angie- I had my thyroid checked before I started Clomid and it was fine my dr said. I don't have quite as low temps as you but I thought you should know that mine's been check and was a ok-you may still have an issue though so don't rule it out.
