Cm?

Okay-It is cd 13 today. Last month I o'd on cd 15. Anyway, I can tell that O is on its way because of the ache in the area of my ovaries. I have been OPKing but no +++ yet. I will test later today and know then if I am surging today. My issue is that I normally have more CM than this. I am afraid if I am surging today this may be a problem for the sperm. It isn't stretchy at all!! More lotiony and its not very much. I am drinking a lot of water when poss (trying not to drink too much before the OPK) but I am getting concerned. Should I try some Robitussin or the Preseed or should I just wait it out and see if something changes? Now that my cycles are regular I don't want to deal w/a hostile environment. Any ideas girls????? Thanks in advance!

Julie

julie, it certainly can't hurt if you want to start taking some robitussin. just be aware, that if you happen to O tomorrow, there's a good chance you would've started it too late. so in as much as it can't hurt, it might not be helpful either. if you don't O for another 3-4 days, then you would probably reep the benefits of it, so i would take it.

also, sometimes we can't always see the CM that we need. just because it's not abundant enough for you to see it, doesn't mean it's not around the cervix, which is where we need it.

good luck!!!

Hi Julie: I agree with Dina totally. Robi can't hurt and it might help if O is still a few days away ... and as she points out, your cm might be more fertile than you know!

Good luck and keep us posted+++++++++

I agree with Dina. That useful cm could be hiding up in the cervical opening and you not even know it. It can't hurt to try the Robitussin or Preseed though, right?

Well I got the + OPK yesterday-cd 14-I will probably be Oing today (feels like it-pretty crampy). I am SO excited because its the same cd as last month. I just feel more optimistic now that my cycles are finally regular. I think I was having a CM issue because dh and I were doing a lot of BMS. The great thing is that we were doing it because we really wanted to not because we had too and I think we may have gotten a little carried away !! I didn't have enough time for the Robi but I did use the Preseed last night. Friday night was fine so I didn't use it then. It is so funny because Thursday my dh did a bunch of research on sperm and now he's being very proactive. He bought some Zinc and some Vitamin C and he wants me to call my dr for his actual SA #'s (we were just told that they were good). He wants to know what "good" means. He's SO cute because he's telling me all these facts about sperm. It is nice to know that he is concerned and wants to do things that may help. Anayway, I feel like we are more of a team w/this ttc stuff and that makes us feel much closer as a couple-its great!! LOL!!!
Dh and I can't BMS today because he's at work but will get in a session tomorrow morning when he gets home-we probably need a little break and we did BMS last night so I think we are all good in that department. I hope you are doing well and I will keep you posted-2ww here I come again!!

Yay, Jules! It sounds like things are going well this month! I'm glad dh is involved... can make a BIG difference to have a "real partner in ttc" .... good luck with O and keep us posted!
