Post O temps steadily declining????

I've never had this happen to me! I believe that I'm 8dpo, but could be as little as 4 dpo because of missing temps I'm not sure. (You might have read my post in "where are my cycle buddies?") But now my temps are decreasing everyday. Now I know my body quite well, and I will not get a temp of 98 or over unless I O'd. Usually anything over a 97.7 means I O'd. These are temps over the last 4 days: 98.08, 97.94, 97.90, 97.86. What is going on???? Has anyone ever had this happen? These have been taken at the same time every morning. Would the outside temperature every night effect my basal temps? Because our night time temps are going down right now. Any insight would be helpful! Thanks so much!

I think many things can effect you temp. What is your cover line. As long as you don't go below that i think you are ok. I would just keep temping and see what the next few days bring. Maybe they will go back up. I hope they go back up for you! good luck and hange in there.

Well, I'm figuring my coverline is 97.83. I had one temp that was close to that(97.79) pre-O, but I was horribly sick that day. Other than that all my temps fell below 97.63. Thanks for the response!

Well I am by no means an expert on temps because my own are quite confusing so alls i can really say is hange in there and stay positive. When i asked sbout my temp dropping last month the response was basically if you don't go below your coverline you still have hope. Good luck and keep us posted.

Have you had your progesterone checked? Progesterone helps keep your temps high and when AF comes they fall. I have had cycles that decline afer so many DPO. Hopefully they go back up!!!

Thanks, I have not had my progesterone tested before. But my temps did go back up! 98.09, and 98.48! So I'm back on track!

When af comes for me, my temps do not fall until af is over, is that normal or not?

Shavon: Yes, it's normal... many women don't even bother temping during AF because temps are so erratic (and meaningless!). I always kept temping, though, because I was in a temping rhythm and didn't want to break it!

Good luck and keep us posted++++++++++++
