Negative HPT 7dp5dt?

Hi girls!
I thought I would post this here. I'm feeling a little bummed out

We did a FET on 10-18-05, transferred 5 embys, all blast though 2 of them had a lot of cellular damage and RE said would probably not continue to develop. Anyway, my BETA is not until Friday, 10-28-05. I have been doing HPT's since last Saturday....all negative. I did the Clear Blue Easy digital one 2x's, the Early EPS one 2x's and then these last 2 were the off brand at Albertsons. Yesterday was the last of the 2 I had left and BFN...I was technically 12dpo. Do you think there is still hope for a + Beta? I'm getting so nervous. This waiting is killing me. I don't know if I should run out and get some more HPT's or just wait now. I've spent $45.00 on those things!!

I would stop wasting money and wait for the blood test. I hope that you get a +++!!!

Hi Heather: YES, there is DEFINITELY still hope for a pg, despite the negative HPTS ... implantation can take place up to 12 dpo (the timeframe is 6-12 dpo) so you could be implanting today (and so a HPT would be falsely negative at this point) ... up to 10% of pg women get a false negative when testing at the time AF is due, and you are still testing earlier than that. If you can, wait another 2-3 days and then try again ... well, I guess you'll be getting your beta at that point, huh? Ok, then I would wait for the beta if you can because anything before then could be inaccurate (and even at that stage an HPT could be inaccurate, although a beta should be fine)!

I had a clearly negative hpt at 13dpiui... even stopped my progesterone(STUPID).... af did not arrive, so I retested at 15d piui... and it was super faint, so I didn't have much hope.... my beta was FINE Though 16dpiui... so hang in there!!! and good luck.
