just need a few prayers
I have my u/s this morning at 10:30. I am sick to my stomach with fear. I have had 3 m/c. I have posted in the past and would have added this post on if I could have found my threads. I O'd on cd 21 and had a disappearing pos. FR hpt. I'm sure I asked a hundred other questions. I am so scared. When we made the appt. I told my DH he didn't have to come as he works 90 min. away at a very demanding job. Now I regret it. It would be too late for him to cancel meetings. My whole family lives thousands of miles away as does my best friend. I have a good friend here but she'd have to bring her 2 little ones (9 mos.and 2 yrs.) not a good thing to bring to any dr.'s office, especially a RE. So I'm on my own and not sure how I'll drive 60 min. home. I'm so sure that things have gone bad. I've been cramping since before the BFP but an u/s at 4wks showed no cyst (I was on Clomid). Now I'm very worried about ectopic; the cramps are quite bad and wake me up at night. I need to go now. Thanks for letting me rant. I really appreciate knowing that you all are here.
Michelle

You are all so sweet to be concerned. We had a good heartbeat. It took a second to find it and I was in a panic and having flashbacks but it was there. He did tell my DH (I had him get out of work because I was afriad to make the drive home upset). that the cramping could be implantation (which I don't buy) or a m/c in the works. We just have to wait and see but he said it all looks good and the cramping is probably nothing. I just wish he could tell me what it is to put my mind at ease. Now I go back in another 2 weeks for another u/s. He did bench me from working out despite the fact that he admits that there's no evidence that it makes any difference. He said because of my history it just seems sensible. My dates are what I thought to the day, just 6w.2d. so it's a long haul.
Thanks again ladies. I keep you all in my prayers as well. Michelle |

Michelle, Thank goodness! You know, my father -- an OB -- said that cramping in pg is fine as long as there's no bleeding (and bleeding in pg can be fine as long as there's no cramping -- it's where you have both that you need to explore further) ... and I think it could totally be implantation or other growing pains ... things start changing in there pretty quickly ... my SIL is recently pg and was SURE she was getting her period because of all of the cramping!
You are measuring right on ... you have a heartbeat ... so, for now all is good and there's no reason to think it won't all stay good! I'm so happy and hopeful for you! Congratulations and best wishes and keep us posted! ++++++++++++++++++ Maura |
