I was just wondering how you were doing? Has AF come yet? Have you talked w/your dr recently? I just wanted you to know that you are in my thoughts and I am hoping you are doing better. Take care!!

Thanks for thinking of me Jules! I actually just logged on here to update. Got another beta today---107---so it is continuing to rise. I am bleeding now (thank goodness) but they are concerned because I've been bleeding since Saturday and my beta is still rising. I went in for an u/s today just to check things out----they couldn't see anything. I go in for another beta Thursday. It it is still rising they want to give me methotrexate.
Do you want to know how crazy I am? I'm waiting for my u/s (with a six week hcg # of 107) hoping that miracles of miracles they'll see a baby and a heartbeat. Nope---empty. I'm doing pretty good all things considered. Looking forward to this being over! Anyone have any information on methotrexate? I haven't had the chance to look it up on the net yet. Thanks again! ![]() Lisa |

Oh Lisa, I'm sorry that it's still going up! And you're not crazy for hoping that the u/s would show something. I was the same way when I had my molar.... it's a way of coping ....
I only know that methotrexate is used to treat ectopic pgs and other early losses (originally a cancer drug), but I don't know more than that. I can do a quick search if you haven't already. Let me know. {{{HUGS}}} and hopes that this will be over soon, Maura |

Thanks Maura----I've looked it up---not happy that I might have to take it. Hopefuly my #'s will go down.
Maura, I've thought about you and others and molar pregnancies----I, at least from near the beginning have had the *luxury* of deep down knowing it's not viable----I can't imagine having betas rising and thinking it's going in the right direction. I guess we have many versions of beta hell. Hugs, Lisa |
