Experiences with EPT +/- tests please

Hi, Does anyone have any experience with these tests? Did anyone get major evap lines, think it was a positive and then it was not? I'm not ready to get my hopes up with something this faint.

hi jenopher...i've used ept in the past and find them to be a reliable test. i *believe* ept does have an evaporation line, so the test should be read within the alloted time frame. sometimes (especially if it's really early) you will get a very faint line as a pos. but again, if this appeared within the first few minutes of testing time, this should be an accurate result and not an evaporation line.

I'm crossing my fingers for you!!!

The first BFP (esp for those of us IF gals who take the HPT's so early) is often quite faint. So, goooooooood luck to you!!

That test is so hard to read. I see what appears to be a faint line in the allowed time frame. After the allowed time frame the faint line does get darker and more noticable. I also have internet cheapies and can't tell if those also have an evap line. I had a chemical last month so I did see faint lines on those on a few days. I am seeing faint lines now as well. I had my DD give me a sample to test so I could see if she got an evap line. She's only 8 so I know there is no HCG in her. I have those ketone testing strips that you use on a low carb diet. She has always wanted to try one, so I told her it was for that. Hers had nothing in the time frame and now I'm waiting to see if there is a possible evap line and what it looks like so I can compare. Although all my lines have shown up in the time frame, they look no different than 2 days ago and I'm 12dpo, or 9dp3dt. Just a few more days and I'll know for sure!!

I had very faint lines on 4 different hpt brands this month (FR, 2 $ trees & internet cheapie). They were so faint that I was too embarassed to show them to my DH. I knew he'd never see them. They all showed up just in the time frame and darkened up a little over time. I had a blood level the day of the 2nd very faint $ tree test and it was 137. I know that evap lines are possible (although this being my 8th preg. and maybe 100th test I'd never seen one) but I somehow think that evap lines in the time frame, on different brands of tests, isn't coincidence. I vote (guardedly) for preg. I hope that I'm right.
