Hello, I'm very new here and thought maybe one of you ladies may have some valuable info for me. I was just wondering if anyone had this happen... I normally have a 34 day cycle so I begin testing on day 14. Well, it was negative day 14,15,&16, but positive on day 17. The next day I decided to test again to see if I had already ovulated and it was positive again. As a matter of fact it was positive on day 17,18,19,& 20 (today is twenty). I use the clearblue easy digital opk, so it's either a blatent positive or negative so I can't look at a line to see if it's getting lighter or darker. I would love it if anyone had some helpful info for me!
Thanks again ,megan

Hi Megan: I know that it's VERY common to have more than one day of ++OPK, but I don't know how long it can go because I always stopped testing the day of my first positive. Are you temping? If so and you get a rise, I wouldn't worry too much about the OPK. If you're not temping and don't have any way to verify O, then I'd think about getting some bloodwork to see what your LH and prog. levels look like. In the meantime, I'd keep BMSing just in case your first OPK was a false surge. With a 34 day cycle, O should take place between cd 18 and cd 22 (depending on your LP), so I think I'd keep BMSing through cd 23 just to be SURE I'd caught O!
I'm sorry I can't be more help! Good luck and keep us posted+++++++++++ Maura |

Hello, thanks for your response! I am temping, and my temps did go up .5 degrees 2 days after my first positive OPK but not as high as it normally does.(usually a full degree). My OPK continues to be positive with temps creeping up in to my normal range. It's funny, when my cycles were totally non-existant I prayed for that little happy face to appear on the OPK, now I want the darn thing to just go away!!!!
thanks for listening, Megan
