What is actual day 1? ( also clomid ??)

Hi gals,

My temps are slowly going down and this morning when I temped ( it was way too early but I was burning up and had to go potty... it was only 97.8) It is still above my coverline.....but now I have a very very light pink spotting, with a very small amount ( like a drop or two.. really) When do I count it as AF? I am still hoping it goes away, but feeling crampy and was nauseated this morning... like AF is coming. Also breaking out like AF. So I am just sitting tight and getting ready for this next cycle. (HPT was -- this early morn)

Also, I have another question. Dr says I can do 50 mg or 100 mg of clomid days 5-9. She asked me what I wanted do, due to the side affects this month.... is there really a difference in how it works.. 50 vs 100? I seemed to have O on the 50 and if this is AF DH has to get his men looked at... because we seem to be doing everything else we can.

My RE told me to count cd as definate bleeding that starts before 3:00pm - I guess if it starts full bleeding after 3:00pm the next day would be cd1. But - until then - here's to hope!

Hi Kat: Oh, I hope it's not AF! For me, cd 1 was always the first day of real, red flow, not spotting. And I counted the day as cd 1 regardless of what time of day I got the flow (so even up to midnight worked for me

).

As for the Clomid, I never took it and don't know much about the dosages... I'm sure someone here has experience though!

I am on Clomid. My Dr says that if you O on 50mg then there is no use in upping the dose because it won't make a difference. Hope this helps.

I had the same question since I needed to know when to start my clomid (I was on day 3-7), and RE said that day 1 was the day in which there was a flow that was constant. I had spotted for 2 days before flow started and RE's office said that was just my body getting rid of the old flow.

I even went in for blood work just to be sure and on the second day of spotting, based on my levels they said that my period was going to start any day, and it turned out the steady flow (aka day 1) was the very next day.

Well, so far not on CD1!! Fingers and toes are crossed!! Only late lst night, early this morn and tonight.. just faint light pink maybe brown... not even enought to do a second check... I am sure that I will know when AF hits, due to a very nice light cycle last month...heh. I had small cramping yesterday, but none today. BBS also were bothersome tonight at work... still hopefull... but ready for another month.... I am sure you all know that feeling. This cycle is not over till its over...

Well... I think this is a bust. Hit 97.2 this morning... no flow, no cramps, but the temp says it all, right? Didn't think I would be upset, but when I saw the temp I could not help it. Will keep ya posted on CD 1.... hopefully it will be soon, to get this going. By far this is the longest LP so maybe that is hopeful for next month. Hugs, Kat

Hi guys, Yes Af came and we are on CD 2 with DH doing his S/A today. I have talked to him to see if was done.... and that is all I could really say then. I am sure I will talk to him about it... just to be supportive... ya know..... will keep you posted!!
