Smile Hi guys! (for those that know me)

Just thoguht I peek my head in here to see how you all are doing!

Things are going pretty well for me, I've lost another 14 pounds since I went on an anti-deppressant. So I'm pretty glad about that! We are still in the not ttc boat, but we might not have much choice since there's a possibility I will have to go off of our new bc. Since I've been on it I think I've expierenced all the side effects! Nausea, moodiness, return of some of my depression, anxiety throguh the roof, and now it looks like I can add migraines to the list. I had one so bad earlier this week I couldn't even sleep! It lasted almost 18 hours! I got 2 hours sleep that night. Doc said if it keeps up I'm going to have to switch. But considering I'm pretty infertile anyway (never thought that would be a good thing) we might just go off of it and let it be. My obgyn was surprised I even wanted any bc, she thoguht I would be safe without it. But, at least for us, if we're planning for a babino a surprise would be okay. If we're not planning, well to say the least we will be caught totally off guard. Especially since we're having my dh's 17 year old (ahh!) brother moving in with us! Please Lord help us.

Has lynanne been around in here? Ever since her failed cycle in June she hasn't sent me a PM. Just wondering if she's okay. I know I had sent her here and she was loving it, so I'm hoping she stuck around as you are all such a wonderful support in trying times.

Stacy-ann, how is your nephew doing? I remember hearing that he came thorugh surgery okay and everything was looking good. Hoping that news held out.

Please forgive me if I'm forgetting anything else important, it's been too long! Well, I sure hope you all are doing great!

Babydust to all who dwell here, I hope everyone gets their ++++++++++++++++++++ :stickyvib

Hi Shavon! Great to hear from you and congratulations on your weight loss! I'm sorry to hear about your migraines though. I don't know if I've technically had a migraine, but I've had some vicious headaches with nausea and vomiting and I can sympathize.

I haven't seen lynanne around. Have you tried to email her?

Well, keep in touch, ok? And good luck with your new housemate!

+++++++++++++++

hi shavon!! nice to see you. i get migraines on occassion, so i truly feel for you.

it's a very strange thing about suffering from IF and using BC. it took us years to conceive my ds, and i STILL have a problem (mentally) using BC. it totally bugs me. but i guess you have to look at it as if there's always that miniscule possibility that you might get pg when the timing isn't right. so in that aspect, you're doing the right thing. i've seen way too many ppl on this site that went through all sorts of ART and thousands of dollars, only to get pg naturally a few years later. even when they were told it was impossible to conceive on their own.

congratulations on the weight loss too!!!

i'm glad you stopped in to say hello.

P.S. there's a post on the main page here about stacy-ann's nephew. i'll see if i can find the link. unfortunately he's run into a little trouble.

here's the link: http://www3.fertilethoughts.com/foru...d.php?t=345828

don't be a stranger

Hi Shavon, so nice of you to think of me and my nephew. I was having computer problems so I wasn't able to log on until today. Anyway since my nephew's last surgery to remove the mass, 2mths later the cancer had spread to his lymph nodes and the lower part of his abdomen I am so fearful for my brother and his ex-wife(they have a good relationship) because he is the ONLY child they have. He will do 5 rounds of Chemo and he just finished 3 rounds.

Anyway congrats on the weight loss. I can realte to those nasty migraines. I get them so bad I throw up. It feels like my brain is going to explode. Sorry you were hit with it the other night. Migraines are very painful.

DKNY.....thanks for posting that thread for me.

Shavon...........thanks for dropping in and visiting us "old timers". Please don't be a stranger ok.

Take care
