Okay-so I am going to test soon and I was wondering the opions on Dollar store hpts-I've heard they have low hcg level detection. Is this true? Do they sell different brands and if so what is the best? I am cd27 tomorrow-I think 13dpo. My bb's have been killing me the past two days-they have never hurt this bad and I am not taking any fertility meds soooooo.....also, I have not been feeling so hot the past 5 days. I am just wondering what you all think about the dollar tree tests. I'd like to pick up more than one so of course I am trying to be cost effective. Thanks for all your help.
Jules

I have used a few from Dollar General...I think they are good for the price. I used one at 9:00pm, got a line and beta was 50 the next day. So I know they at least measure that much.

I am not sure about the $ store tests, but if you need the tests or OPKS after this cycle I buy mine online. I got 20 OPK's and like 15 HPT's for $13 with shipping. These test, test for 20 which is like one of the lowest you can test for. If you want the name of the Company email me and I can get it for you. Well, I used an online cheapie my sis bought online and it was BFN!!! Today is cd31. I am usually between 30-32 days sooooo.....I thought for sure this was it this month. I felt so awful all weekend-like I had a hangover and my bb's hurt sooooo bad-still do but it looks like I am just having bad pms. I just hope AF shows up soon so I can maintain normal cycles. I've been know to have very long luteal phases in the past and I don't want my cycles to get out of whack again now that I am off the clomid. Oh this IF stuff is just sooooo fun!!!! I am being sarcastic can ya tell-lol!!! Thanks for all the help and well wishes-I really appreciate it!!

Maura-
I am not sure how many dpo I am since we are doing the all natural thing. I might not have O'd until Tues or Wed (8/1 or 8/2)-if so I wouldn't be 14dpo until tomorrow or wednesday. I felt actual O type pain on those days and lots of good EWCM. The fact that AF hasn't showed yet is an indicator that I may have O'd those days instead of on cd14. Since I have a 30-34 day cycle I could still not technically be late. It seems every cycle I was getting closer to a 28 day cycle. I was 36 days, then 34 days, 32 days and last cycle I was 30 days. Now here I am at 31 days and thinking hmmmmm.....I just don't want my cycles to get all whacky again-it is sooo agonizing!!! I guess I'll test again in a couple of days if AF doesn't show. I felt like AF was going to come this morning but then the cramps and pressure went away and hasn't come back since???? My body...I swear!!! Jules |

Oh, good
... the later you can place O, the more likely it is that that HPT was a false negative .Don't worry about your cycles changing length ... you are still within normal range. I have roving cycles too (historically 26-36 days long) and my OB said that the only important thing is that I get my period each month; not what cd I ovulate (and therefore how long my cycles are). Fingers crossed for you! Good luck and keep us posted+++++++++ Maura |
