Frequency of BMS (child ment)

Hi!
I'm trying not to get too neurotic these days with TTC #2. When I was TTC #1, I BMSed at least once or twice a day around my fertile window, even though I had always heard that you only need to BMS every other day.

This time around, I am only BMSing every other day during my fertile window. as is recommended or so I have heard. This month I have BMSed CD 10, 12 and 14. Any thoughts as to which approach is better? I have exatly 28 day cycles.

Thanks! Jann

Hi Jann: I've heard both theories. Personally, I always BMS'd every day during my fertile window (my OB told me to as well) because I couldn't stand to think I might not BMS on O day! I think you should do what makes you most comfortable.

One thing I will say, though. It is not recommended to BMS more than once a day when ttc because you don't allow for sperm rejuvenation. So BMS more than once in a 24 hour period may actually decrease your chances!

Good luck with this cycle and let us know how you make out!

i could've written mauras reply!!!!!! i am too much of a "type A" personalitly to BMS everyother day.

also....it's not recommended that you BMS everyday if you're dealing with any kind of male factor. good luck!
