Confused about temps & cm???????

Ladies, maybe some of you can help me. At first FF said I o'd on cd13, but now it's saying that I haven't o'd. I'm confused! I do check my cm and note that on my chart. For the past 10 days my cm has been very wet. Sometimes it is watery and sometimes it has a little bit thicker feel to it. (I know TMI) I have had slight cramping as well for the past few days. My temps have been weird also. Can anyone help?

Jeanette....based on your temps i would've thought FF would've had O on cd 14 (as opposed to 13) because of the higher temps for the following 2 days. either way, what probably happened is when your temp went back down (and stayed down), the program couldn't justify the O, so it "changed it's mind."

i don't see O as having occurred yet. how many days are your cycles regularly? also, do you have an idea of when you usually O? and lastly, are you consistant with your temping time?

I temp every morning at 6:30 a.m. I also check my cm. It went through all the stages. On cd13 & cd14 it was EW. Then it was sticky for a couple of days and went to EW and W again. I'm so confused!

Last month my cycle was 44 days. July was the first cycle I had gotten "on my own" in a long time. The others had been induced by BCP or progesterone suppositories. Last month my chart said I o'd on like day 22 or something, but my temperature stayed high for a long time last month.

I just don't know if I already o'd or not. I'm so confused!!!!

Hi Jeanette: How frustrating! I wouldn't give up yet, though. If last cycle lasted 44 days, then with a normal LP, you probably ovulated between cd 28 and cd 32... if you could post your chart from last month, we'll see whether your temps match that scenario.

And if you did O in that timeframe, there's a chance you could again this month, so O could be coming up within the week. Don't stop BMSing just yet! I would BMS on any day that you have fertile quality cm and I would keep BMSing every so often anyway, "just in case."

Jeanette...i see O when FF does with a CL of 97.5. so i think maura gave you good advice. stay "busy" cuz you're still in the game.

Hi Jeanette: Oh, I love it when reality matches theory! I too agree that you O'd last month on cd 32 with a coverline of 97.5. So you are moving into that time period now. BMS regularly and if you want to start OPKing you now, you just might detect your surge (but you don't have to OPK as long as you are BMSing AT LEAST every other day (and if you BMS every day, just make sure you leave 24 hours in between sessions to allow for sperm rejuvenation).

According to FF, I have a low chance of getting pg this month. I guess we'll just have to wait and see. Poor DH's back has been bothering him a lot lately so we haven't had a chance to BMS as much as we should! I'm still because you never know! LOL

Hi Jeanette: I agree with FF that you probably did O on cd 27. As for your coverline, if you toss out that 97.6 on cd 25 (as artificially high for whatever reason), then I see your coverline as either 97.2 or 97.3 (there is a school of thought that if you toss out a temp in the 6 day period leading up to O, you actually go back 7 days, which would make your highest temp in that period the 97.2 on cd 21, giving you a coverline of 97.3... or you could just use the 5 temps leading up to O -- not including the cd 25 temp -- giving you a coverline of 97.2. They are so close, though, that it doesn't really matter!

If you don't toss out that cd 25 temp, then your coverline would be 97.7. But looking at the overall range of your temps just before O, I think that a coverline in the 97.2/97.3 range makes more sense!

p.s. With a 12-day LP like you had last month, you should be looking to expect AF on cd 40... hope it doesn't come!
p.p.s. Why does FF give you a low probability of pg.. because of your BMS relative to cd 27?
