what is this? spotting on cd23???

I posted this on another thread, but wanted to post it seperate so I can get as many responses as possible...

Okay, so this is weird....
I am on cd 25 today...and just got back from my trip..it was okay...but I am just glad to be home. Anyways, I started spotting a little in the evening of cd23!! What in the world??? Well, and sorry for tmi...but if I would sit there some would drop into the toilet..but then I would whip and then it would just stop and lessen...so I go to bed..not enough for panytliner or tampon...and I didn't get any on my panties that night...THEN I woke up and when I went to the bathroom (after I did and whiped..I saw the same thing..spotting on tp and a few drops into toilet). THEN nothing the rest of the day except maybe a little brown after going to the bathroom...that was cd24. Then today cd25 the same thing??? in the am...but then nothing else the rest of the day..unless I went pee and whiped then I would get a little, but nothing on my panties? What is this? I also spotted some on cd14 and cd15 (which I assumed it was from ovulation or something?). I got a positive on my opk on cd12 and I think that I ovulated on cd13. I don't want to get my hopes up that this is implantation spotting...??? BUT I keep thinking oh my AF must be coming really early!!!! BUT then NO FLOW??? What is going on? Has anyone ever had this before? Can implantation spotting last a few days and stop and start? Has anyone ever experienced this and gotten a bfp? OR has anyone ever experienced this and gotten a bfn? I want to hear it all...

hi abi....i've had this experience and had the outcome go 2 different ways. i've had it where the spotting was just a precursor to AF, and i've had it with implantation. i know...that really helps you right

in answer to your question specifically about implantation, yes, it can come and go over a few days. i can tell you when it WAS implantation spotting, it never really turned to a deep red (like AF would) it was more of like a pinkish color at first, then it turned light brown.

you're right in the implanation "window" so i'm rooting for that! please let us know the outcome. good luck!

Thanks guys! No, that is good..I wanted to hear both sides... Just...I have NEVER A. started spotting SO early and B. spotted for so long and not gotten AF... I have been spotting for a good 4 days now. Like for ex. today I have about 2 drops on my panties, but that is it..and now nothing when I wipe? I have no idea? I even wore white pants yesterday!!! Usually that will bring her for sure!! AND I have had sex yesterday and today- that usually jump starts things for me! Well, the weird thing was that I had spotting about a day after I think I ovulated... THEN I have had a little brown twinge when whiping every since then until cd23 when I started to have a little red as well? SO who knows what it is? Could be a cyst maybe or just my body just plain messed up. Today is cd26 and 13 days past ovulation for me. I am NOT getting my hopes up..I just want to know what is going on with my body. Like I said..I always spot for a day or maybe a day and a half and then here comes AF...but never this early or for this long? I am waiting for AF so I can start my IVF cd3 b/w etc.! I will keep all updated.

Hi Abi..........I agree with DKNY. I have had that happened when I found out I was pg with my DD. I just knew it was AF with all the spotting of red blood on and off. That went on for the entire 1 tremester.

Thanks so much. I do have some hope...but am realistic that it could go either way. I even worked out hard tonight and no more spotting at all and nothing when whiping... This is just weird. I am excited though either way...of course I would LOVE for it to be I am preg., but if I am not..I will get to start the IVF process...so at least I have a plan. What a miracle it would be to get preg. this month and funny since we have already done all of the paperwork...precycle b/w and testing etc. Already spent a good amount of money...BUT of course I would be happy!!!!! AND it would not matter. I dream of the day I will be able to say I am pregnant. I will keep you guys updated. Thanks for all of the thoughts.

Yes, but I am not for sure when I will....at some point yes...but IF I am I want to find out asap..in case my prog. is low or something like that...since I am spotting..so I don't want to wait too long, but not test too early. Maybe around cd29 or 30?
