Another Dumb Question

I'm on cycle day 27 (have been running on a 28 day cycle) and I took a opk just for fun and for once in my life the test line is darker than the reference line. what the hell does that mean that I'm ovulating now or could it mean something else? I thought I ovulated around cycle day 12. PLEASE HELP ME!!! Tell me this could be a good sign and that I'm not going crazy...AGAIN!
Angela

P.s. Should I take a pg test to see if thats what it is?

angela...what possessed you to OPK? how did you verify O on cd 12? if you're certain that you O'd on cd 12, then i would do a HPT.

i have "heard" of women triggering a pos OPK when they're pg, but i'm NOT promoting this method, because it's not a pg test.

if you're a regular 28 day'er, than of course you wouldn't be O'ing on cd 27, but you would be 15 dpo if you infact O'd on cd 12, so this would be a good time to HPT.

good luck! let us know how it goes.

I was cleaning out my bathroom cupboard and I found one. They never worked for me before so I told myself "Just do it for fun to see what you get". Well I got a darker line for once and now I'm freaking out! See what having alittle fun does to a girl. I'm going to hold out for another hour and see what happens. Oh I hope I get good news.

Taking an OPK was how I knew I was pg last month...It was what I thought was CD 11 and got a big blaring pos opk...If you did O on CD 12 and it's CD 27, I would most def take a HPT. Let us know how it goes!

I took a hpt this morning, first urine , and got a BFN . AF is still not here and I don't know what to do. I keep thinking that I am getting all these positive signs but it could be all in my mind. I'm tired, hungry, my belly feels different, my nips are very sensitive. I just hope the test is wrong but I'm starting to lose hope. I'll call my doc in the morning and see what she has to say. Maybe I can get a blood pg test done or something. What do you guys think I should do?

Hi Angela, it actually measure the exact amount of hCG in the woman's blood. This measurement can help give a rough estimate of the age of the fetus. It can also help determine if the pregnancy is progressing normally if you are pg. Wishing you tons of ++++++++++++++++thoughts.

I hope your results come back a BFP.
Good luck

Got my results back yesterday evening and they were negative. I am so tired of what my body is doing to me and the emotional strain is taking it's toll. Everyday and every minute I am some how linked to pregnancy. Either I see it, hear it, think it, or feel it. I can't go through a normal day and wonder if this pain I'm feeling is a good thing, or I have 3 more days till i can test. We were on a "break" from trying to get pg and it's seems to be worse now because things had gotten better and we were ovulating on our own. Now who knows whats going on. It's time to start all over again and go through all the blood work, examines, and ultrasounds. Next week it will be 3 years since we started trying and I feel no where closer to having my miracle than I was then. Sorry to ramble but I need to get it all out of system so I can move forward and be positive again. At this point I have no idea how that will ever be possible until I can hold my miracle in my arms.
