Well....shoot!
Was going to fill my prometrium today to get started on the next cycle. I gave up temping and stuff on cd 23 and hadnt ovulated yet so i was going to take a few days and just...relax. I was so stressed out and upset. So this morning i decided to get back to temping and well....my temp was post O temps!
GAH...wth!!! <sigh> Guess we'll see if today was a fluke. I kinda doubt it. Never had a fluke temp this high. So at some point in the last five days i must have ovulated. Greeeaaat. shoot shoot shoot!!!! Why cant my body just be NORMAL?! http://www2.fertilityfriend.com/home/366f

The more i look at it (obsessing) ...does it look like i might have ovulated on cd 21 with a slow rise the two days after?! SHEESH ....i could
I was looking at the charts on FF and there are some that looked similar with slow rises. I cant believe i just gave up temping. Will fix me in the future. I will temp every day unless im dead =P What do you all think. Think the temp today is a fluke or? I do remember having a ton of EWCM those two days including cd21... |

julie...i'll spare you from the "riot act"
of temping cuz you're obviously already feeling bad. but i would say you probably O'd between cd 23-28. fertile CM usually starts to appear around 3-4 days before O occurs. additionally, your cd 21-23 temps are style too low to be post O temps. even for ppl who have temps that creep up slowly after O, they at least start out around the CL area....KWIM? those temps are actually sitting lower than your previous temps, so my "educated" guess would be that it was somewhere between 23-28.try not to beat yourself up too much. if you were using strictly temping to track your O, chances are you would've missed it anyway. if you don't have a fairly "regular" O day, temping alone will only give you hindsight info. for the most accurate info, it's best to use the BBT method in conjunction with OPK's. on to a new cycle. good luck!

Hi Julie! To me it looks like you might have ovulated on cd 22, with a slow rise pattern and a coverline of 97.5. Your temps on cds 17-22 are all below 97.5 and then you have a rise of .1 degree on cd 23. Without knowing your temps on cds 24-28, we can't say for sure, but a cd 22 O would certainly be consistent with your ewcm on cd 21
. And your BMS on cd 21 could have done the trick !Question for you, though: why are your temps on cds 17-18 not colored all the way in? Did you have a sleep disturbance those days? The reason I ask because if those temps were 97.5 or higher, then the "rise" on cd 23 to 97.5 would not be a rise, in which case it wouldn't look like O on cd 22.... Anyway, I hope it WAS cd 22 and you are now well into your 2ww! GOod luck and keep us posted+++++++++++ Maura |

Maura,
They dont get colored in if the time i take the temp is a bit off from the standard time of 7am. I'm one of those people tho that it doesnt make a difference if i take it an hour early or an hour late. Its always pretty much the same temp (which is good it would make me crazy having to adjust for 15 minutes early or later or whatever). Yep, im definitely in the 2ww. Temp this morning was 98.3. Definitely post-O temps. DANGIT. I cant believe i might have missed it. You've given me some hope that maybe the little guys were around in time for O. Hey Julie! That's good that your temps don't vary much relative to the time you take them ... that certainly makes the cd 22 O scenario more likely
! Boy, I hope you got lucky this month! Good luck and keep us posted+++++++++++ Maura |

Well i adjusted FF to put ovulation at cd22. I figure might as well since i really dont know when i ovulated. It seems like maybe that fits the dip and slow rise like you said. Another thing is that ive had some breast tenderness for more then a week. And i only really get that after O so it would put it about that day or so too.
I figure ill wait a good week to test if AF doesnt arrive by then. Im really not holding out much hope for this cycle. |
