Need Reassurance about HPTs
Hi ladies.
I am in the 2ww from back to back IUIs resulting from an IVF cycle gone bad! I've been hpt'ing for a few days and I know the hcg trigger shot is long gone! Do you think 8dpiui is still too soon to get a + and is there still hope for me? At the time of trigger I had 3-4 follies and possibly another by the time the IUIs occurred. Any help is appreciated!! Thanks!! Jen

Hi Jen! Yes, I think 8 dpiui is too early! Implantation can take place between 6-12 dpo, so you still have 4 days left before you could be done implanting
!If you can, wait until you are at least 12 dpiui, if not 14 dpiui, before testing... I know it's hard, but the longer you wait, the better your chances of an accurate result! Good luck and keep us posted++++++++++++ Maura |

Maura & Dina,
Thanks so much! I tested - again this morning at 9dpiui. But I guess it's still early and I did feel like I was having twinges in my uterus last night....so maybe implantation was occurring?!? I'll keep you posted! Thanks for your reassurance! Jen

Unfortunately no words of wisdom, just wishing you heaps of luck and take it one day at a time. Try to give yourself a couple of days break from the HPT's I know easier said than done. Once again praying for some good news for you. Best of luck. Debbie |

Hi Jen! I'm sorry you're feeling down today
... {{{HUGS}}} The only words of wisdom are that it's EARLY still! Really, it is! You still have two more days to implant and even if you already implanted, the HcG is likely still undetectable ... even if you test at 14 dpiui, you could still get a false negative ... up to 10% of pg women will get a false negative when testing at the time AF is due!SO, hang in there, keep your hope up and good luck! Let us know how you're doing, too! ++++++++++++++++++ Maura |
