Another opk question!

Ok so yesterday i tested and got a clear negative. Not even a hint of a line. Today i got a faint line. I know its still considered negative because its not as dark as the control line (which imo isnt very dark itself - is that normal?). I guess my question is, will i see increasing darkness or is this just some fluke thing? Today is CD 12 for me and i have had EWCM some yesterday, more today. How many days can you see this type of CM before o?

Are you guys tired of me asking questions yet lol.

Oh and im using Clearblue Easy Sticks if that makes a difference.

I dont know much about OPK strips but I am trying to use them this month. I *think* it's normal for the LH to fluctuate every day...I have been using them since CD 11 and so far I've gotten 2 faint lines in a row, then a no line at all for 2 days and now today I've got a faint line again. I think it's because there is always a small amount of LH in your urine but some days more then others. It probably also depends on when during the day you use them...I try to use them the same time every day. Good Luck!! I hope the clomid works for you...it will give me hope

Hi. I have had some months with a really dark line...and other months it was lighter, but I know that I O'd. Did you drink a lot of fluids not long before testing? I kind of remember that the months that it was lighter I had had a lot of water earlier and it seemed diluted...if you know what I mean. Do you know what day you typically O on? I would pay attention to your body...if you have EWCM then I would get busy! lol. Seriously...have BMS!! Good luck!

hehehe I dont know when I O. I only ovulate on clomid. And that was only once when i got pg with dd. I wasnt bbting or opking then so i have no idea how my body does.

I know that i didnt notice any EWCM then. I O'd then around cd 21. I wasnt on Metformin then, didnt have af at all and it took 150mg to make me O. So now its a totally different story with the Met.

I'm having some strong aches/pains on my right side (only ovary i have) and i know i have a follicle growing. Was 13-14mm on Thursday.

Kinda lost with this OPK thing. I'd say its about 50% of the color of the control line.

Hi Julie: As you can see the variation of what people see with OPKs is wide -- some people see nothing, then faint lines until their ++... other people see lines come and go until their ++ ... still others see no line at all until their ++... If you had good size follicles growing and you are on cd 12 with ewcm, then I'd wager you'll see your ++ soon! As for how long you can have cm before O, again, wide variation, with some women having days and days of it leading to O, while others having not much at all until O is upon them ... if you keep observing from month to month, you may learn your own pattern... but then again, even with a regular pattern there can be variations!

I just bought a generic brand of the sticks and am not sure if they work.One time I got a result but none of the other times, I know I wasn't consistant but dont know if buying the CVS brand is silly. I know the Clear Blue is more expensive right? Are you talking the kind you pee on or the other thing which is like $200?
