Do the new Clear Blue Easy Pregnancy Tests have an evaporation line?
Hi, All
![]() I was a very regular poster on this board in 2000-2001. My dh and I went on to successful adopt a beautiful little boy in 2002. Well, we are waiting to adopt again and my mommy hormones are running rampant!!! I am on CD 32 and am a regular 28 dayer. I just couldn't resist and stopped to buy a pregnancy test I bought one of those new ones that tells you digitally. The test said not pregnant so I ejected the strip and I can see a faint second line. It was within 1 minute of seeing the result come up. Does anyone know if this test has an evaporation line?TIA!!!

Thanks, Dina!
Well, I took another one this am and it was still a faint blue line. I am currently taking Synthroid, but researched and that shouldn't give you a false positive. CD 1 was on May 23rd and I notice good CM sometime the week of June 5th (old habits die hard ). I haven't had my normal PMS depression, I've turned into gassie sally the last 2-3 days , and having crampiness in my lower abdomen which is unusual.**Sigh**Like I said in my first post, I have a feeling that my mommy want-to-be hormones are going rampant right now!!!

Debbie,
Unfortuately the CBE digital will give two lines no matter if it is + or -. You are really only supposed to go by what the read out says. I would possibly try another brand here in another day or two. Good luck! ++++++++thoughts

This is what I found after doing some research on the web: To interpret the result of your Clearblue Easy pregnancy test, you need to wait two minutes after you have urinated on the test stick before you read the result. Confirm that a blue line has appeared in the control window – this indicates that the test has worked correctly. If there is no line in the control window within ten minutes of performing the test, the test has not worked. Throw the test stick away and retest with another one.
If you see a blue line, even a faint one, in the square result window, this means that you are pregnant. The line may be faint blue if you are testing on or around the day your period is due. If you do not see a blue line at all in the result window, it means you are not pregnant. A faint line is caused by a low level of hCG. This is the hormone that your body produces in increasing amounts during the first part of pregnancy. I would try another brand in a day or so. Good luck and +++++++++++thoughts. Keep us posted ok.

Sorry to hear about the not pregnant, but I've read several women asking the same question as you about the lines and the company says that you shouldn't pay attention to the lines at all but only the response that the test give. Hoping when you take another test the outcome is a positive one for you.
