Flatline temps, help

Hi ladies, I normally post in the IUI forum, but I'm hoping you all can help.

I'm at 12 DPO and for the last 5 days my temps has been the SAME. My temps did the normal bounce, getting a little higher each time, then flatlined. Has anyone had this experience or know what it's about?

Also, I had an IUI, and am on natural progesterone suppositories.

Thanks ladies!

hi janere...flatlined temps for a few days is not a problem, as long as your temps are sitting nicely above your CL. at what point has your temp flatlined in comparison to your CL?

Okay here's the thing.

CL is 97.3

1dpo 97.7
2dpo 97.7
3dpo 97.4
4dpo 97.9
5dpo 97.6
6dpo 97.9
7dpo 98.1
8dpo 98
9dpo 98
10dpo 98
11dpo 98
12dpo 98

So you can see where the concern is, I've never had flatline temps. Any thoughts?

yep......i wouldn't worry about it!!!!!!!!

those temps are sitting nicely above your CL!! it happens sometimes that we have consistant temps. i'll bet you you'll see a little fluctuation in the next day or so....

Hi, As Dina said, flatline temps are absolutely not a problem as long as you are above your coverline, which you are. Maybe the prog. supps are causing your prog. level to be really steady?!

Good luck and keep us posted++++++++

The only thing I could find about temps and progesterone was that the progesterone can raise your temps by about 1 degree. Today is day 8 of the same temp. AF is now 1 day late, and HPT yesterday (14 DPO) was negative. I will probably call my RE tomorrow morning if AF doesn't arrive. I'm sure they'll want to do a beta to cofirm pregnant/not pregnant. I don't know how long the progesterone can delay AF, but I'm hoping by no more than 2 days.

Thanks!

yes, progesterone can raise your temps. that's what gives us our temp rise after we O. the corpus luteum produces progesterone after the egg is released.

i've known ppl to have AF delayed by 4 + days due to prog supps. but we're hoping for the real thing with you. do you have another hpt? if so, why don't you wait a couple of days and test again? if still neg...call your doc for advice.

Thanks for the info. I'm actually going to stop by the store tonight after class and pick up an HPT for in the morning. Regardless if it's + or - I will call the RE and probably go in for a beta just to confirm so I can either keep taking the progesterone (my preference) or stop taking it so AF will show and we can try again. What a roller coaster!!
