Temp did *not* go up after HCG shot

From what I have read and understand, I would have expected my temperature to go up the day after Ovulation

I had HCG shot on June 14th - Had IUI #1 on the 15th, and IUI #2 on the 16th. None of those days showed a temp higher then my usual 97.4 - 97.7

On June 17th ( 3 days after HCG shot) my temp still hadnt gone up - it was still 97.7

    Any ideas?

BTW..I have PCOS, could this be a contributing factor?

Hi Savanna: I think temps can, but don't always, go up after the shot... As for whether you've ovulated, is there any way you could get a progesterone test now to see whether you did (or an ultrasound)? I know the prog. number would still be low because you would have just ovulated and usually it doesn't reach its peak until a week after O, but I think it's important to figure out whether the shot worked and whether you did O.

Good luck and keep us posted++++++++
