Need input

OK, also posted in "2ww" thread, but need info.

I'm 17dpo, no AF, very very light spotting, but not blood, just old looking stuff, still have raised temp (way above coverline), but have failed 2 HPTs--one 13dpo, the second 16dpo. HUH. Does this sound like chemical, or molar or even worse, ectopic? I figure eptopic would by now register on HPT, so I'm hoping that isn't it, but could it be a chemical and just be registering under the HPT level?

I'm calling my new doc in the morning if there's no AF or temp drop.

thanks-Coo

Hi Coo: I'm sorry that you're in this limbo!

What is your usual LP? A typical LP is 12-16 days long and Clomid has been known to extend a LP by 1-4 days.

The fact that you are getting negative HPTs does not necessarily mean that you are not pg (or that you are having one of those pgs you mentioned). You could be one of the 10% who gets false negatives at this stage even when pg. Or, it could be that your LP has been extended by Clomid.

If your doctor will give you a beta now, I would get one. Otherwise, you could wait a bit and then test again (maybe when you are 20-21 dpo) and see how you do.

There's still hope since AF is MIA! Fingers crossed for you....

Good luck and keep us posted+++++++++
Maura
