I took the plunge...

Being a pessimist where my fertility is concerned, I went ahead and made a follow up appt with my RE today for July 12. It seems to take a while to get an appointment (as evidenced by scheduling my appt today), so I figured I'd go ahead and do it since this will complete my 4th cycle since my lap in March. By the time I see my RE, I will most likely be completing my 5th cycle so it puts me on target since he suggested 3-6 cycles of TTC on our own before he would suggest other options.
So, I figured I'd make the appt just in case and hope that I can cancel it. As my RE's nurse said, hopefully I won't have to see them.
But if I do, I'm set up for it. At this point, I just want to hear what he wants to suggest for treatment so my dh and I can mull it over. I don't know how gung ho I am about treatment at this point. I guess it depends on what he proposes, costs and risks associated. So we'll see.....

Dina is RIGHT! I like to go bra shopping during my 2ww. If I get pg, the bra won't fit in a month or two. So I figure, nah, it won't be BFP, so I'll go get some pretty bras. It's reverse psychology on the pg gods. So you made an appt, thinking "nah," but just you wait! You may have tricked them yet!!

(did that make any sense?)

Angela: When I read the title, I thought you were going to say that you had tested with an HPT and I was shocked because I know you don't like those and would rather get a blood test! LOL

Smart cookie to make the appointment... now let's hope that you can end up giving it to another person because you don't need it!

Good luck and keep us posted!

Oh no. I'm much too cheap to buy a HPT knowing it won't register a + this early.

I'll save my money and just go to the OB for that blood test if I'm late. You know me well my friend.

It made sense to me. It's just that planner mentality of mine....I'm always planning for the next step. Just can't help myself. I know....it's a sickness.

I can only hope that you guys are right. My crystal ball tells me otherwise but I can't help but err on the side of a negative result for the month since that is the norm.
