When should I test???
Hey ladies,
Today is cd30.... I have been feeling bad the past 3 days...Feel great in the morning but by afternoon I am so tired.... I did OPK on CD19 and got a BFP which I think means I o'd on CD20 or 21... This was my 1st cycle with Clomid 50mg, and also Metformin 1500mg.... When should I do a pg test?

So do ya think I should expect Af around June 13 or 14?
That is if I o'd? I have been having these feelings in my side, not sure what that is... Does anyone know if you can feel implantation and what it feels like? |

Hi there: If you are not sure whether you ovulated on cd 20 or 21, then I would use the later date as the O date for testing purposes.... so assuming O on cd 21 and a LP of 14 days, you could expect AF on cd 36 (which would be 15 dpo and 6/15/05, right?) and HPT at that time (keeping in mind that you could still get a false negative at that stage, and if you have a longer than 14 day LP, AF could still be waiting in the wings). If you would rather give yourself longer to either get AF or not before testing, then you could wait until you are 18 dpo before testing. Almost always if you get to 18 days past O without AF (and you are sure about when O was), then you are pg
.GOOD LUCK and keep us posted+++++++++ Maura |

Hi: Blood tests (beta HcG tests) are definitely more accurate than HPTs... the trouble is, some doctors won't give them early on... if your doctor will give you one, then you might want to think about doing that over an HPT (assuming you are past what you think is your LP)...
GOOD LUCK and keep us posted +++++++++++Maura Last edited by BC-Maura; 06-09-2005 at 06:48 PM. |
