Ok I went to the bathroom yesterday and there was brownish and pink blood with a mixture of mucus stuff....I thought that i had started AF but I didn't have any cramping and with af I always had cramping before and that was at around 330 p.m. and then when I got home at like 5 there was nothing no blood nothing and then all last night nothing and then this morning when i got up and took a shower nothing.....I was so excited and then nothing...i have not had AF on my own.for over a year ago.ok a lil help with metforminthis month but still I was happy...now what does all this mean did I do something wrong..will af still come or was this it....I am so confused....and not happy. should I call the dr and ask what the heck is going on with my body since I have no idea..well thanks for listening and trying to help

jonni....it might be a little "preview." but if you haven't had AF in over a year, it might take a few cycles on meds to actually become regular. if you don't get a regular flow within the next couple of days, i would call your doc and let them know what's going on.

I have never been on Metformin and I didn't know if you will get regular effects of af but i have had no cramping and nothing I am Just thinking wouldn't I have some cramping or does the meds affect that too??I dunno I just want a NORMAL BODY...it is so confusing to feel like i am climbing a mountain and I got to the top just to be kicked right down to the bottom.

Hi Jonni: How frustrating! You know, I just looked back at your other "cm" post and you had cm right around 5/31, right? If you did O around the first of this month/end of last month, then your spotting could possibly be implantation spotting since it's brownish/pinkish and the timing would be right for it. Did you BMS around the beginning of the month?

I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you. You could always ask your doctor for a progesterone test now just to see whether you did O and are in your 2ww. And then you'll know whether to start looking out for AF or possibly using an HPT!

would also like to note.....cyles change as you get older. shortly after having my dd i noticed my AF had shortened. i went from a 5 day AF to a 3 day AF. i also some where a few years after that, i started feeling O very intensely, when i never had before. within a couple of more years i noticed i would rarely cramp when i got AF. maybe one or two cycles a year, at most. now.....i haven't had a single thing that resembles a menstrual cramp since i gave birth to my son almost 3 years ago. in the last year, my O pains have become somewhat un-reliable. for years i have had them every single month, faithfully. now i notice every couple of months i feel nothing. although all the other signs are there, so i know i'm O'ing.

so the point i'm long in getting to (sorry) is that if you haven't had AF in over a year, there's every possibility that your cycle could be different than what you remember it to be.

although i like mauras possibility better! so good luck!

That night I went home and she was here fully and completely. It took it long enough...I was just thinking since I did Have the D&C on 4-27-05 Then she start slow. I know that I am sick and want to puck...I feel like I have the flu I am tired and I am soooooo Sick to my stomach. I think that is from the Metformin though...since AF came and then the meds...blahhhhhhhhhh. I don't know how people do this stuff all the time...I mean when I was prg I was ok not a problem....but I feel worse now with af than I ever have being prg...lol But for me I know that It should be over like to day and i am just now getting started started..... so should I look forward to it being over later than sooner I know that WHen I did have AF then it was for like 6 days and now Whooooooo Knowssssssssssss...personally today I really don't I feel like something un human lol Thanks for the support.....I appreciate it.

I go in July 21st for the Clomid my First round....But My question is this if i am having AF then I did O right and isn't that what the Clomid is for?? I dunno I am just confused....

Oh tjsbbygirl01 - sorry about AF - grrrrr!!!

I know clomid is used for ovulation but I've also heard that it helps egg quality and maybe regulates o-ing better. Perhaps someone more knowledgeable can back me up.

One of the crap things about AF is the daily reminder for 3-7 days that you aren't preg and onto another cycle - one reminder is enough for me!!

I have to wait till July because my DR wants me to have to healthy and full AF before ttc again I had a Missed MC and had to have a D&C in April 27-2005. So i have been on Metformin since May 12-2005. and It is working because I have not had AF on my own since August 04...and I was only 2 months Prg when I miscarried...so that Is why I have to wait till July..But i am hopefull with the meds that I should be ok with the next prg if it happens. i do feel better After I left owrk on Monday I went home and got violently sick and it was soooooooo bad then yesterday I was fine never felt better. I am just wondering how do i count my cycle with AF if it started and stopped and then started and stopped and then came on fully...do I start day 1 when I first seen The happening of af.....or should I do it when it was fully in active..af?? Don't know what day my cycle day started. THis is sooo ruff.......I don't know if I am on day 6 or 7????I mean I started on the spotting on the 8th but it was gone then it was back on the 9th then fully on the 11th saturday it was in full swing I have no idea all I know is that I am so greatful to have af without provera and only with Metformin....ok another question will I be on metformin the rest of my life to keep my af regular and reduce the risks of cancer?? Thanks?

I have another question ok with this cycle of AF i didn't have any cramping I didn't have anything to signal AF like I normally do is it possible that this is one of those where my body thinks its af and it is not...I dunno.....is it possible i dunno i am just affraid that the medicine may not work and I am affraid to get my hopes up..that is all
