question about spotting...

Hi Ladies,

I've come out of lurk mode with a question. I had a m/c in late March and then had my first AF on 5/4. I have always had long cycles and normally o around day 28-30 which should be right around now. I haven't been charting this month but I started spotting brown a couple of days ago (started as a little red in my cm/on the tp) - what could this be?

I am so bummed out because I had planned to start ttc with my next AF and thought for sure it would be around the normal time - now this. It's just one more thing I don't want to deal with. IF is so frustrating!

Any thoughts?

Im so very sorry for your loss.

The frustration is awful. I dont have any words of insight. AF is mia on me after some brownish spotting around cd 24 and its now cd 33 and nothing =( Ive been so regular (down to the day or day before im due for af she shows) since being on metformin in january. Was going to start clomid when she showed this month, and here we are...waiting...ugh...frustration!!!

Just wanted to chime in and vent with you!

oh..and ive heard some women spot when they ovulate. I dont know much more about it then that, maybe some of the women here will know more about it.

I am on CD12, a few months after a miscarriage. Anyways...today and yesterday I had the same thing, a little blood in my CM, and just a tinge when I wiped. My thoughts were maybe it had something to do w/ "the baby dance" (not sure the right term on this board)? but I am also reading it could happen around "o", which is still a few days away for me? and seems to early? Not really sure what it is either...best of luck, good question.

hi lisa...nice to see you back again.

occassionally O brings on a little bit of spotting, which would be right around that time for you now, right? are you someone that gets outward signs of O? if so do you feel like you're o'ing?

also, is it even possible that it could be the start of AF? i know it would seem ealry for you, but cycles can change. especially after a major event such as pg or m/c.

I'm glad I'm not alone even though I wouldn't wish IF on anyone

I guess it's possible that it could be from o even though I have never spotted at all before (but as Dina pointed out things can change).

I will have to wait and see what happens - sometimes it feels better just to share with others going through it. Thanks again!
