Coverline question

Hi all,

This is my 3rd cycle of clomid ( day 2-6 150mgs).I also have trigger on day 13 and start Progesterone on this day as well.(I know this is rather unusual) Need some help in establishing my coverline. My temps have been as follows
Day 1 : 36.49 ; 2 - 36.39 ; 3 -5 - 36.49 ; 6 - 36.69 ; 7 - 36.49 ; 8 - 36.39 ; 9- 36.38 ; 10 - 36.59 ; 11 - 36.49 ; 12 - 36.39 ; 13 - 36.59 ; 14 - 36.49 ; 15-36.59 ; 16 - 36.68 ; 17 - 36.68

Does this chart indicate that ovulation has taken place????

zizzie...i'm not really convinced that you've O'd yet. your jump from cd 15-16 isn't even a full .1 degree higher. the coverline is drawn at .o5 degree higher (for celcius) higher than the preceding 6 temps.

i would like to see your temos over the next couple of days to validate O for sure or not.

also, don't you trigger? if so, when did you trigger?

Hi Zizzie: Usually with a Celsius chart, you look for a temp rise of at least .1 degree... you have a temp rise on cd 16 that is almost there (only off by .01 degree) and your temp on cd 17 is the same. If the rise on cd 16 was your ovulatory rise, then your coverline would be 36.64 (you draw it .05 degree higher than the highest of the 6 temps preceding your rise)... SO, if your temps from here on out stay above that, I'm thinking you did O on cd 15, which would be consistent with your trigger on cd 13.

GOOD LUCK and keep us posted++++++++
Maura
p.s. Dina, I didn't see your response when I posted because I had Zizzie's thread opened, left the computer for an hour and came back!

Hi Dina and Maura,

My temp today is 36.69. I have a strong gut feeling that I O on CD 15 as well as there was a distinct sharp twinge that i usually feel when i O that evening. If fact I told my DH that this was it and my must have popped out. We were BMSins as from CD13 every day. Unfortunately on CD15 my DH was not well and he struggled to BMS and he said his 'output' (know what i mean) was so much less than usual....i do not have high hopes...given the male factor issue and BMS from CD 13 was probably not the right thing. Don't know what to think any more. My DH will do a restest next Wed. I have kind of given up I know so many other women have gone through so much more and i feel stupid saying that i am giving up but this is how i feel at the moment. I am feeling so angry at my stupid body which does not work well, I feel upset at my DH issue as well as if one of us was not enough. The only thing that keeps me going is that i believe miracles do happen...thanks for listening.

zizzie....i'm sorry you're feeling this way right now. it's totally understandable. i think we've all come to a place at one time or another where giving up sounded like the best option. but you're right, miracles DO happen. this site is chock full miracles!!

try not to feel so discouraged yet. you don't know what this cycle will bring yet. and maybe dh's retest will show better results. good luck! and keep us posted.

P.S. maura....i originally looked at the time stamp on your post (since we cross paths so often) and when i saw the time difference i just knew you had opened the post and came back to it. i do that ALL the time. and then i saw your edit....LOL....but no need to explain, i had figured it out

Exclamation

Hi ,

Thanks for your words....just a question about temps....after CD15 my temps have constantly been 36.68 and then 36.69..is this normal??? It is a usual post O temp for me but i never had a coverline of 36.64 before so i am a bit worried that the temp is on the low side. Apart from that I have all the post O symptoms like vvv sore boobs. I am feeling kind of funny this cycle, healthwise i do not feel ok, always tired, not very hungry ...hormones all over the place i guess.

Thanks

Zizzie
