HPT question

Hi all - Most of you will not remember me, but I posted here a while back when I was heavy into charting and doing OPK's.

Well, lucky me, I've had + HPT's everyday since Saturday(5 days). I go for a beta tomorrow.

My question is - all of my HPT's are the same brand ( First Response) but the second line is not getting darker. They are all faint. I would have thought the second line would be getting darker by now. I'm 13DPO and got my first positive at 9DPO.

I'm just worried this is going to be a chemical pregnancy because the lines are getting darker.

Hi Deb

! DON'T worry that the lines aren't getting darker... the HPT is a simple Yes/No test and you have passed

. They aren't precise enough to gauge the progression of a pg, so if you're consistently seeing lines, that's all that matters...plus, at 13 dpo you are still EARLY in the process and some pg women don't even get a ++ using an HPT at this stage.... so....
