HPT and HCG test??????

Ok, I know, I know , WAY too early!!( piui7). But it was just staring at me in the face, and I needed more space in my cabinet. LOL. On monday May 23rd I had the trigger shot (10,000.) The test showed NEGATIVE when I took it yesteday (. I thought that it stays in your system for 10 dys or so???? When I tested yesterday it was PIUI6! I was very bummed. I am getting my progesterone test today, so I will make sure they gave me the 10,000. I know they did though. Anyways, any thoughts?

Hi Hilary: Assuming they gave you the 10,000 trigger, then there are two possibilities. One, the HcG is out of your system (maybe you process it faster than others!) or two, maybe the HcG is not out of your system, but the HPT you used just didn't detect it for some reason.

In any event, if you can wait a little longer to test again, then you increase your chances of getting an accurate HPT

! Anything taken now will not tell you anything because either the test will be negative and you won't know whether it's a false negative OR the test will be positive and you won't know whether the HcG is from the trigger or a pg
