Hello All! I am on cd 24 today, I O'd about the 14th cd and today (and last nite a little too) I have this sore, somewhat small, painful, feeling in what I think is my left ovary. This is what I would guess it would feel like during O, but I never feel when I O, so I am just guessing...it hurts a little into my back too, on the same side. Any ideas??? I think I felt this once or twice before in other months, but it was usually around cd 5-9, probably as I got ready to O...it doesn't really feeling like AF cramps or anything as it is in my ovary not really my lower ab or anything...any ideas or info?? I would appreciate ANYTHING!!

leftover cyst??
What would that be?? Would it just go away naturally??? I'm not prone to cysts and such that I know of...is that common? I do have ultrasounds before my IUI's and never saw any, unless they just go away on their own during AF???

Didn't mean to alarm you! Whenever you O, you had a cyst leftover (the corpus luteum, which is the collapsed follicle)... it's normal and will go away on its own... sometimes women have discomfort or even pain from this cyst... I tell you, when I was pg with ds, I had twinging and discomfort from my right ovary, which turned out to be the ovary which released the egg
.I hope this is a good sign for you as well! good luck +++++++++++++Maura |

Ahh... I see...thanks for the info! I was hoping it may be implantation as well, but I had a little breast tenderness today, usually a sign in me that AF is about a week away...
But I'm still hoping!!!!! Thanks for your help!!

just jumping in here to say good luck!
P.S. don't "assume" sore breasts are necessarily a sign of AF. if you're prone to them pre AF, you will more than likely have them when you're pg too. best wishes!
