? about clomid & cyst

I had a cyst last cycle that was I think around a 30mm. We went ahead with the cycle anyway. It was a BFN cycle. My ? is could the cyst still be there this cycle? We are doing 100mgs clomid and 200mgs prometrium and BMS this cycle.....no more IUI's. I'm wondering if the cyst will grow even bigger with the clomid and will the cyst absorb all the meds? Are we wasting our time this cycle with the clomid? The other weird thing is that last cycle with 50mgs of clomid my cycle ended up being just the opposite of what people are saying should happen. I think I may have O'd earlier than normal.......+ OPK cd10 and cycle lasted 26 days? The month b/4 that no clomid and cycle was 34 days. It seems like I'm screwing things all up. I've never had a prob. before with any of this stuff and now that I'm on meds it's crazy! Anyway let me know what you think. -Annie

Annie: I don't know the answer to your question about the cyst and I think it's best to check with your doctor.. it would be a shame to waste the Clomid if the cyst is going to interfere with things...

As for O-ing earlier than normal, while O-ing later on Clomid is common, I'm sure there are a lot of people who O earlier than normal too! Oing on cd 12 or so with a 26 day cycle is perfectly fine because it gives you a nice 14 day LP. I wouldn't worry too much about your cycle being different from usual and I think that if you had a rest from the meds, your body would resume cycling normally. I would definitely run all this by your doctor though.

Good luck and let us know how things are going++++++++
