Arrow Really Confused

Hi,

I've been lurking for quite sometime, My Husband and I have been ttc for 8 months. but now I have an interresting question...

Last month AF showed up 5 days early, and only lasted for 12 hours. This month I am 4 dpo, I think?, and yesterday I spotted (very very very light). I am extremly tired! I took a HPT and the result line showed up by in the wrong spot? It was the cheap kind that you dip. So does anyone, have any ideas?

I am really confused.

Holly

hi holly....glad you decided to join us from lurkdom

so my first question is....is this a confirmed O that you're referring to? if so, how did you confirm it? thru temps? OPK?

if this is a confirmed O, then i'd have to say that your HPT would be right. i know that's not what you want to hear, but if you did in fact O then you can't be pg. thankfully, mother nature designed it that way.

if ths is not a confirmed O, then i'd say maybe another HPT is in order. are you dealing with a doctor at this time? if you do get another neg HPT, you could ride the rest of this cycle out and see what happens, or you could ask your doc for a beta.

have you been temping or OPK'ing for the past 8 mos? are your cycles fairly regular with regular O? have you discussed your TTC issues with your doc yet?

i'm sorry for all of the questions. i feel like i'm always questioning our newcomers to death...LOL. just trying to get a feel for how much you've done or learned about your cycles while TTC.

well...

Here is the Low Down...

I am not sure if I Oed, I have been checking my cm and I was suppose to O on the 26th.

We are trying to concieve naturally. I talked to my doctor and she said she would do some test after we have been ttc for over one year. I am only 25 , so she says our chances are good. I am frustrated. My cycles are usually between 30-32 days.

I just do not know, what to think. My two best friends are pregnant right now, so I could just be stressed.

Maybe I should just wait to see if AF shows up!

so confused...

ok, well you have at least discussed this with your doc. 1 year is the rule of thumb for people under the age of 35.

so with no actual evidence that O has occurred, anything is possible. i would wait a little longer and re-test. if you have the ability to wait (which many of us here don't) then i would wait to see what happens in another 10 days. if you get a regular AF, then i would just chalk up last month to a freaky month. it happens. if you don't get a regular AF, then i'd re-test. if it's neg again, then a call to your doc would be your best bet.

let us know what we can do to help you. are you sure you're timing your BMS accurately? i know many people that "thought" they were, only to find out they weren't. that's why temping and OPK's are so helpful.

please feel free to ask about anything you might need help with!
