shes here

well it was like itold you, as soon as i used one of those cursed pee sticks AF arrives....happens everytime!

i know i couldnt help it...i was weak ...i took it late last night when dh got home from work, and a bfn, so we decided that maybe it was too early and vowed to test again wed if my temps are still up, but this morning my temp fell....more like crashed...from 98.0 to 97.1(wow that hurt ), and sure enough by the afternoon started some spotting. cant really say im really upset though, just wanted this cycle to get over with, so we can "go another round"...and wouldnt you know it yeast is all but gone of course now when i KNOW i can take something stronger!

my question was do i count this day as day 1, or wait untill the first day of real flow to start counting? well off to work to pick up my clomid...i would have to go on a day i was off, Af coulnt have waited till monday when i went back to work, to make it more convienent for everyone
talk to you guys later, im sure ill have new nurosis this next cycle-kel

oh crap...i'm sorry honey but you were right about the hpt....it's always the way. maybe next time you can just pretend to pee on the stick so you don't have to waste it. then if AF doesn't show, you still have the test!!

good luck on your new cycle!!!

ill need all the luck i can get, thanks

starting on 100mg clomid days 3-7, although thinking about some new research ive seen that women who take clomid on days 1-5 have a 20% increased chance of pg? wondering if youve heard of this?, so hopefully i will have a better o, as md said i most likely did o, as pogest was over 5, but she wants to see 15 or more on a medicated cycle, siad it was not "good" o, sheesh didnt know these things had quality levels , but keeping charts has been really helpful, and i wanted to thank you all with your input on that, whit out you guys i would still be clueless....well more so than i am now

well here is to the next 5 days of "construction" and then lots of bms!!!!woo hoo can hardly wait

Sorry about AF, but you've got the right attitude!

You go get 'em Kel!

And yes, you do count today as CD 1

Oh, Kel, I'm so sorry! What a total $%^#%^$.

I'm not up on the Clomid research, but I'll look around and see if I find anything on what cds yield better results.

As for what day to count as cd 1, I was always told that you should count the first day of a real red flow -- the kind where you have to wear a pad/tampon and not just a liner. If today turned into that, count today as cd 1; otherwise, maybe tomorrow will be more of a flow and you can start counting tomorrow.

In any event, I wish you the best for this cycle!

Maura,
Really? You have to wait until the first day of red flow? I always thought that you could count spotting, too if followed by red flow the next day. Guess I was wrong... Sorry Kel...

Hi: Yeah, my OB and RE told me to count the first day of red flow and not just spotting.... does TCOYF say that too? Any fresh readers of TCOYF know (it's been a while for me!)....

Duh!! I never thought about looking it up and I have that book and I read it from cover to cover over a year ago. Guess I didn't pay much attention to that page... Yup - it says that Day 1 of the cycle is the first day of red menstrual beeding.
Thanks, Maura!

Kel, Good luck on this cycle!

Hi Kel: 12 days is perfectly fine for a LP... the norm is 12-16 days, so 12 days is within the norm.

Good luck and keep us posted++++++++
