HPT question!

This morning marks 12dpIUI#1 and 11dpIUI#2 (I am not sure which IUI to count from). Although I usually never ever take HPTs since their outcomes are not definite and they make me crazy, I caved in and took one this morning -- a First Response test. I got a very, very faint positive. My trigger shot was 13 days ago so I would think that it is out of my system.

Has anyone had any experiences like this? I (obviuosly) am so hoping for a BFP but am so scared of a false positive!!

hi kelly....at 13 days past the trigger, it should be out of your system. i think they generally say it takes about 10 days to clear your system (where it shouldn't interfere with a HPT).

i would wait a few more days and take another HPT. hopefully you'll get a definite, quick BFP!!! please give us an update when you HPT again!

Just wanted to jump on and say that I hope your + test repeats itself in a day or two.

the HCG from trigger should definitely be out of your system by now.

Thank you so very much for your kind responses! This morning's HPT definitely had a darker line and I am now past the 14 day HCG deadline so I am going to request a beta blood test tomorrow. I am so nervous AND excited!
