Update on Nephew...

1st let me say thanks for all your +++++++++thoughts, encouraging words and prayers. You ladies are the best!!!

As we speak he is still in surgery and it did not spread to his lymph nodes...yiippeee!!!! Prayer is so powerful!!! He will get some Chemo. though.

He had discovered his testicle(left one) a bit swollen and thought the swelling would go down but by yesterday it was as big as an apple He said he was a bit embarrassed to tell his mom. Well when he saw the size of it he got frightened. Poor fellow.

The success rate is about 71% and once caught early he will be fine.

Continue to keep him in your thoughts and prayers and I will continue to keep you posted.

Take care.

I can't imagine having to deal with that as a 17 yr old young man. I'm glad it has not spread and will keep him in my prayers.
Thanks for keeping us updated.

oh boy, the poor kid must've been frightened! thank goodness he put his embarrassment aside and spoke to his mom. i understand testicular cancer has a very high success rate. i will keep him in my thoughts and prayers.

P.S. that news is as good as news gets in these types of situations. i'm sure he'll do great!

Has he read the books by Lance Armstrong - my dh said they are very inspirational. Best wishes to your entire family.

Hey Stacy-Ann, can I ask about your rest cycle babies -- what exactly does that mean? I am new to this board.
