OPK Question

Hello All

Today is CD 14 and I've been doing the OPK strips since CD 10...My cycle last month was 26 days (first real AF after being on BCP) I was beginning to think I wasnt going to ovulate....I wasnt surprised by that because of the PCOS....BUT today I got a faint line.....I know the directions say that the test line has to be darker than the control line to be considered a LH surge....I'm wondering if I caught the very very start of it? Could it be possible that tomorrow it will be darker and I will O? Thanks for any input ! I am trying to go natural for a few months before I add clomid being as I am getting AF by myself.

hi kristina.....

i'd have to say it can go either way. but if you've been using the same tests and haven't gotten any lines until today, then that's a good sign.

some brands will give you a faint line at any given time during the month. we always have some amount of LH in our suystem, even if it's a trace amount. so if you're only just now seeing a line, that's obviously indicative of an increase in LH.

do you BBT at all? this might be a helpful tool to you as well.

good luck on getting that +++ OPK!!

Thanks for the reply !

I have not been BBT'ing I was thinking that I should have started last month while we were still not trying grrrr ! I think I will start after AF this month (if I'm not pg this month that is !)
I was thinking that the line was good also because until today there was no kind of line at all. I will test tomorrow, I really hope there is a big fat dark line !

I told DH to hurry home from work for BMS lol !
