O finally

Well, I have finally (for the first time!) got the red cross-hairs on my fertility friend chart! CD 17, my temp has stayed above my cover line so far, yeah!!! I go in for progesterone check tomorrow, which is only going to be 4 dpo. They are testing me on the days I am SUPPOSED to o, giving no attention to the fact that not everyone o's on cd14....

I won't get the results for a week or so. Will I still have an accurate hpt on cd 28 since I didn't o on cd 14? Should I wait until cd 31?

2ww, here we go!!!

Great, Jessica! And the BMS timing worked out too, right? YAHOOOOOO!

What cd was the actual O again? You'd think I'd remember, eh?! Whatever cd it was, count your dpo starting the day after it and follow the regular guidelines for HPTing... meaning, any test before 14 dpo might be a false negative (and even a test on 14 dpo can be a false negative since 10% of pg women testing at that time will get a false negative)... so if you test earlier than that, use a sensitive HPT only (see link at top of page) and if you see a negative, don't give up hope because it could still be too early!

Oh, I'm so glad you're in your 2ww! Good luck and keep us posted+++++++++

Thanks for the positive thoughts ladies, my temp is staying above my coverline, so O must have definitely happened on cd 17... I will keep you posted on the progesterone when I get it back.

I went to the dollar tree and bought 4 hpts, for next week, because YOU KNOW if its neg, I'll keep testing, and if its pos I'll keep testing! I'm soo bad!! But hey, it's only a buck, right?

Well, my temp dipped to 97.4 this morning, 97.6 being my coverline. Do you think that is indicative of anything bad? I am now 6dpo. All of my temps have stayed up for the past 5days, so today it was a bit of a shocker.

What do you think it could mean?

Jessica

Hi Jessica: There is a secondary surge of estrogen that takes place about a week after O and which sometimes causes temps to drop for a day... it sounds like this might be what's happening... if so, your temp should go back up tomorrow... let's hope it does!

Keep us posted and good luck++++++++++

jessica, it could mean nothing at all, or it could be indicative of a drop in progesterone. when are you going for your progest test?

many women have a fallback in their temps approx a week after O. it could just simply be a shift in hormones. try not to read into it too much....i know that's easier said than done, but this is fairly common.
