Hi Dina,

Thanks so much for checking on me. My RE said no more betas. I guess I could push for one but it seems as though he is counting me out. Another one of the girls here has a theory that some RE's sort of dismiss pregnancies that they didn't have a hand in. That certainly seems to be the case here. He told me last Friday that we could go ahead and schedule the D&C right then. It made me kind of mad. How about giving it more time? How about letting me absorb what was going on and what about talking to DH? It just seems he was ready for me to move on, even though I'm not ready yet. I am still holding on to the hope that my miracle awaits. I guess I will know on Friday.

I am feeling very tired these days, not sure if it's the pg or the emotional strain. I am hoping it's due to my little bean.

I will keep you posted...SO sweet of you to check in on me. My u/s is on Friday at 2:00. I have an appt. with the RE after that (3:45) so another long afternoon.

I hope all is well with you.
Lisa

lisa...well i'm glad you've chosen to ride this out a little. i would be livid with such a dismissal!!! i've seen so many situations turn themselves around. i truly hope and pray for you that you get great news on friday! i'll be waiting for an update!

as for the doc...i could believe it. when i was TTC my ds, i was pleading and graveling with my doc for progesterone. i was POSITIVE that was the reason i wasn't able to maintain a pg. i had every textbook symptom of low progest. i also had an endo biopsy that was out of phase....she finally gave it to me to shut me up. i got pg the first month i used it. then she had the nerve to say to me..."don't forget, i get the credit for getting you pg!!" i said..."well, my husband might beg to differ with you, but ok." PALEASE....talk about egotistical!!!

Hi Lisa, just know that we are all supporting your decision to wait. Your RE is not GOD and He will do what is best for you and just hold on to that little bit of hope b/c if you went ahead and terminated then you might always have to suffer with the what if's and if you wait it out and let it happen on it's own timing you can either feel confident that you did the right thing for your baby or you will be calling your new baby a true miracle and I hope thats what it will be a TRUE MIRACLE! I am thinking about you and praying for you from the bottom of my soul and I can't imagine how hard this is for you but, just know that you are cared about here and we are all proud to call you our friend! Please update when you can on this bb. {{{hugs}}}

Thanks ladies for the unbelievable support I couldn't do this without all of you.

I will update tomorrow but it will be late (sometime after 5 as my appt. is at 3:45 and it's an hour away from home).

I am happy but scared about tomorrow being Friday!
